the heating pad without the electric cord
With some long-existing muscle and bone pains from old injuries, I have become a loyal user of this brand. It is like having a good spot-relief heating pad that you can wear. Of course, don’t be foolish enough to wear it if you are moving around outside in the Summer, but it works pretty good for indoor uses, or while driving or flying (and forced to sit still). You aren’t supposed to wear it at night due to a danger of skin burns, but I do anyway on my back or lower neck, allowing me to wake up without morning pain from stiffness.It says Mentholatum company, but the smelly product by that name isn’t in the pad. No smell involved. It just provides just spot heat like various hand or foot warming products.A few of the reviewers have noted a concern for price, and I agree. This or comparable store brands from CVS or Walgreens are found in a very wide range of prices. At different times, Amazon had this as an add-on available from mid-4 dollar range to 5.99 for a package of 4.

Great for leg cramps at night but expensive
I prefer this brand even though they are more expensive than some of the others. These can be applied directly to the skin without getting uncomfortably hot. I have tried other brands but some of them get too hot applied directly but if placed on top of clothing they fall off or the heat can’t be felt. I am 70 years old and sometimes I get severe cramps in my legs and ankles at night. I have to get up and walk them out but then after that I apply one of these patches and the cramps are gone for the rest of the night. I only gave 4 stars because of the price.

These air activated charcoal patches are awesome. They really do have 8 hours of heat in them and stick on pretty well. I have tried the Thermal Care patches, but find these stick better and have more charcoal to produce more long lasting heat. I always seem to be straining my knee, back or some other body part and I find that if I put one on at night, I am almost as good as new in the morning. I keep some in my desk at work and am always sharing them with an injured coworker who has never heard about these wonderful patches.

Would not recommend!
I was so disappointed as thought I was buying my favorite pain patch! Capsaicin not a warming patch! I cannot find it anywhere! Me and my daughter who I had told about original ones and also preferred over all other same brand or other, and had been using gratefully for months! These do not stay on ! And do not help heal! Useless . I haven’t used but one! I should have returned! But sometimes as very old and ill, it’s too much to deal with!we use to buy at Dollar General stores in Mason Ohio and Fairfield Ohio ! Terrible to find a wonderful product and no longer available!

Not much heat
These do not stick as well as others I have used. They only stick around a thin edge where you need a little more than that. Disappointed with heat. It was barely warm. I had better luck with store brand. Won’t buy again.

they work like nothing else for my lower back pain
I used to buy 20 to 30 of these when they were available in stores for 99 cents. They’ve disappeared from store shelves and cost more than 99 cents online. That being said, they work like nothing else for my lower back pain! I don’t buy as many as I used to but I was thrilled to find them online. If you have lower back pain give them a try. Follow instructions and protect sensitive skin. I usually get 8 or 9 hours of relief from each patch.

I purchased for a family member who has joint pain and she said that it helps with easing the pain in her leg.I would recommend to others with joint pain. I have purchased this product numerous times.
