What a great device!
I love this! It easily connects to an app and records all of my body measurements. I am currently on a weight loss journey and this is a very helpful tool.There was a bit of a learning curve at first. It looks like the device shut itself off after only less than a minute of being turned on. But that only happens when it’s not an actual use. When I have been using it to measure everything from my neck down to my calves, which takes about 10 minutes, It never shut off and it recorded everything with great accuracy.I love how this device compiles a history of your measurements said that you can easily compare measurements to current ones and see your progress.The tape wraps around the body part and locks into a little hole and it stays there with a magnet. You need to pop it out gently each time you measure a different part.The numbers are a little difficult to read on the device, because I felt like the face of the device was often turned away from me, and it was a little difficult to flip it over to read the numbers, until I realized the numbers also show up directly on the app during the measurement. So you can just look at the numbers on the app. You don’t need to look at the numbers on the device while you are taking the measurements. Although, I still tended to do this because I wanted to make sure both numbers matched. They did!I think it’s a great value. I highly recommend it.

This feature would have been particularly beneficial for someone on a bariatric journey, as seeing the total inches lost can be incredibly motivating and a significant part of tracking progress.Despite these issues, the tape measure itself is a great tool. It’s much easier to use than a traditional tape measure, especially for self-measurement. The ability to read measurements directly from the device is fantastic, and when the app does work, it’s a great way to visualize and track your progress.This smart digital tape measure has the potential to be an excellent tool for anyone on a bariatric journey or someone looking to monitor their body changes. However, the app needs significant improvements. If the manufacturer can fix these issues, this product could be a must-have for health and fitness enthusiasts. For now, it’s a helpful tool, but be prepared for some technical frustrations.
