HOW TO APPLY: You can use this matte foundation makeup wet or dry with the included dual-sided pink and white applicator sponge. For dry application, apply foundation with the pink side of the sponge. Gently dab the powder, pat it on the areas that need the most attention first, then blend outward and upward. For more serious coverage, apply it wet with the white side of the sponge. Dampen the sponge, dab the powder and pat onto face then blend outward and upward until fully blended.

Love this powder foundation. I’m able to do my makeup in less than half the time. Goes on smoothly and covers very well. Lasts all day too, even through sweating. Does not cake. It comes with a small cosmetic round and has a compartment for it in the makeup so you can take it with you. I ordered the shade “Light” which is a light medium. The color works perfectly for me. This makeup is a little pricey, but I think its worth the money.

Pleasantly surprised woman of color
It came perfectly packaged and sealed, in a timely fashion but I was greatly disappointed to find there was no dual sided applicator sponge in my compact. I wanted to try this product for a long time but couldn’t make myself spend the money. I ended up ordering it for my 60th birthday. I’m not happy my package wasn’t complete but I must be honest.. I tried it with a Kabuki brush as suggested in the advertisement and I found it to be amazing. I chose the deep color and it matched my skin perfectly! I first applied my primer then went for very light coverage, amazed that with barely a dusting it hid blemishes and minor imperfections. Eager to see what would happen, I applied a bit more for full coverage making sure I lightly dabbed fine lines and wrinkles per directions,even he terrible turkey waddle under my neck. The results are amazing! It is not heavy or cakey to me! Thank you for making me look 20 years younger on my birthday Laura Geller! It’s light weight, feels barely there and lasts all day with no shine and minimal coverage. Amazing product!

Love it, best make up for older skin
Love this product. Goes on as light or as heavy as you want depending on what kind of brush you use. I like the single pallet/no bronzer rather than those in the total kit. I believe some people are adding a little water to the powder to make a base liquid on the brush. I wouldn’t recommend adding water to this powder, it ruins the pallet. Makes the power hard as a rock then you have to scrap it and it never returns to the soft power/how it should stay/how it’s made. I love this original for older skin.

Know your skin. It’s too dry and shows wrinkles
A lot of good and there’s a lot of not so good. It does cover. I am 73 and I have brown spots. I can’t expect a quick rub to cover them, and I don’t, but you have to put on several layers. When you put on several layers you look like something out of a’20s horror flick. It was on so thick that it went into every wrinkle and the lines were more pronounced than I’m used to. I was pleased with the color, please with the coverage basically except for I had to use too much. This would be great for photos because it’s so matte and powdery. I have dry skin to start with and this just made it worse. I’m sure it will work for others but it wasn’t great for me. I hope nobody got too close to me because it looks like you could take a fingernail and scrape it. I think it was a nice try from Laura to do a full coverage, we needed it because the other stuff is too thin, but now I don’t think I will buy it again. As I look in the mirror it is showing wrinkles more than ever instead of just adding color and cover to my skin. By the way I am a print model and not generally filled with wrinkles or terrible skin, so I was hoping this would be the magic I needed. I’m afraid I will have to go back to my liquid that is much smoother and much lighter. I’m disappointed because I really hope this would be my go-to product but as I sit here in the mirror I can see that I look like Norma out of Sunset Boulevard with too much makeup.

Best Foundation For Older Gals
I am 62 years old. I love this foundation & blush. I also ordered the Spackle Primer. This does not settle in my lines. I had not been able to wear foundation for several years until I found this. I highly recommend it. I truly love it & plan on reordering when I run out.

Mature skin with redness approved
Doing you tube researching reviews, many commented this foundation was mature skin friendly. So I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. So many mature influencers already have great skin so it’s hard to tell what’s really mature-friendly for ordinary women with not so perfect skin. Yep, me. Most foundations look caked on for me. And with cheek redness, I always have to go for that coverage. Another thing is most foundations would make my pores stand out more, yuck! This foundation doesn’t conceal redness nor pores 100%, but it sure does a good job at it. I don’t like the pad applicator it comes with and instead use a MAC 188 duo fiber brush. Sooo much better finish and I’m feeling this as my new go to foundation. I’m mid 50s with rosacea/age spots, combo skin, recently elevated skincare rountine and hardly any wrinkles but lots of unsightly skin texture. This works for me!

Never settles into the fine lines and wrinkles on my middle-aged skin, never clogs my pores and creates a photo finish with great coverage that doesn’t look cakey. It’s a bit pricey but worth it.
