After suddenly losing my trusty “old” hairdryer of 11 years (I don’t miss it now), I needed a replacement and dove into the reviews—not just on Amazon. Over and over, the Ella Bella hair dryer kept popping up, so I gave it a shot. It arrived super fast, and the first thing I noticed was how much smaller and lighter it is compared to my last one. The grip is noticeably smaller too, which is fantastic for me since my hands and joints give me trouble these days. The word sleek comes to mind.The attachments (a diffuser and a directional nozzle) are magnetic—so is the fan filter, which makes swapping things out extremely easy. Honestly, I find it all very straightforward and simple to use, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough—especially if you need something lightweight with a slimmer grip. For reference, I have fine, shoulder-length hair, and I find styling it with this dryer to be a breeze.One huge plus: it’s much more compact than my old hair dryer—so much so that it actually fits in my overnight bag, even when it’s loaded with all my makeup, hair products, and creams. With my previous dryer, zipping up the bag was pretty much impossible if I had all my stuff in there!One more shout out: the customer service is amazing. I got texts (I provided my number to them) reminding me to send in the warranty info, etc., always signed “Ruth.” I discovered that RUTH is PERSON, not a robo texter! We actually had a conversation, and I told her that I was having health issues (my hands) — that their hair dryer was a godsend. I received personalize responses. I really love companies that are actually in touch with clients, not just sending mass texts and emails for marketing.

Great product and customer service
It was a gift for my wife, so this is from her: I seldom, if ever, write reviews, especially when they are good, but for the Ella Bella hair dryer I felt the need to do so. My husband purchased the hair dryer in February 2023. I thought it was expensive in comparison to the hair dryers I usually buy but my husband wanted to splurge. It turned out to be worth it. It is lightweight for the power it supplies. I like that it had 3 temperature settings and 3 air flow settings which are independent so, for example, you can have lots of air blowing but at a low heat level. The hairdryer has a mode to “clean” itself and comes with a cleaning brush. I have never smelled burning hair in the hairdryer like I periodically would with my previous dryers. I think it dries my hair faster than previous dryers. But here is why I am writing the review. In October 2025 my hair dryer suddenly stopped heating the air that it was blowing out. Everything but the heat worked. The hairdryer has a 2 year warranty so I contacted Ella Bella and after some back and forth with emails (very quick turnaround), I was sent another, brand new hairdryer. What a pleasant experience! Friendly emails. No long waits on HOLD with customer service. No waiting for weeks or months for a replacement. So, my assessment is that the hair dryer is good and the customer service is great!

I love this hair dryer!!! I have never spent this much money on a hair dryer. Not even close. But as I age and my hair gets thinner, I decided that it was time to invest in a dryer that would not only be a great styling tool but would also help my hair to stay as healthy as possible. After doing a lot of research and reading many reviews, I decided to give the Ella Bella Professional Iconic Hair Dryer a try. Yes, it’s expensive, but was still definitely more affordable (for me) than competitors on the market.After several weeks of use, I am thrilled with my choice! My hair is fine and thin but has some natural wave and tends to be frizzy if I don’t blow dry it. So I use my dryer a lot. But one of my biggest a concerns is drying (frying) it. The Ella Bella’s heat intelligence is a game changer for me! It drys my hair quickly but adjusts the temperature as my hair gets dryer. The result is shiny and smooth with less hair breakage. Another feature I love are the magnetic attachments (no more constantly falling off like with my other dryers). And it’s SO light weight!! A dream to hold in my hand. Add that it’s quiet, and super pretty on top of all that, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I’m going to take it with me next time I go see my stylist so she can see it for herself and have a great option to recommend to her clients who want an outstanding dryer, but aren’t looking to spend several hundred dollars. The Ella Bella has met or exceeded my expectations on every measure!

Love this hair dryer!
I absolutely love this hair dryer! It is so light weight and so much quieter than any other dryer I have ever owned. The attachments fit magnetically to the dryer with ease and do not slip or fall off( just magical)! Being able to adjust the heat makes drying my hair worry free about over heating my hair. The diffuser is amazing! I love the fact that the airflow can be adjusted to allow my waves to dry without frizz. Did I mention the color? I bought the pink dryer. I love the whimsy of having a hair dryer that is not the standard black or white color. The dryer comes in a box that keeps all the attachments and the dryer together and protected. Everything about this dryer is high end and the quality shows. The owner of Ella Bella contacted me personally to make sure my experience with purchasing her product was satisfactory. What other company treats their customers with such regard?! AND when you register your dryer you get a warranty for your dryer. I honestly can not say one negative thing about my purchase. I will be getting another dryer for my daughter. This experience with Ella Bella has made me a faithful customer.

Don’t hesitate, just buy it. I’ve had other big name brand dryers that were twice the price of this one, and do not even compare. It somehow makes my hair so shiny, and gives volume that I didn’t even know was possible to achieve. Another amazing thing is how light weight and QUIET it is. This is my FIRST Amazon review because this product goes above and beyond quality and expectation. I was generally looking for the typical hair dryer that had a lot of great reviews but then came across this product. First the drying speed is fast! My hair looked healthy and shiny. The dryer attachments that come with it are amazing and help you get the salon perfect style! There is a self-cleaning option on the hair dryer too. Make sure to read the easy instructions that come with it and sign up for the two year warranty that has a link when you open the box! When I signed up I received a thank you reply back from the product creator, Ruth, she let me know they are available anytime if I had any questions or concerns with the hair dryer. This is my first big purchase hair dryer and I am very happy so far with all the results!
