Beautiful, Practical, and Functional BDC
To start, I have been trying not to buy into the Stanley Cup craze because it seemed silly. And, after seeing the Saturday Night Live skit Big Dumb Cup, I was even more turned off. However, I am not drinking enough water, and although I love my Yeti tumbler (26 oz), it’s too wide at the top for my puny hand and was starting to make it hurt. I’ve dropped the Yeti because of that, too.So, when Prime Day came around, I started poking around. I have heard good things about Corkcicle, and I was initially more interested in the 30oz with the prettier straw. However, the kind reviewers mentioning the awkward handle design and loose lids, I decided to go with the 40 oz one. I also have an upcoming surgery that will leave me some what immobile the first few days, so having a big cup will be handy.And, who can resist the Rifle Paper designs. Beautiful. Yes, it was pricey, but the cup is awesome. It is heavy but that’s not surprising with 40 oz of water and stainless steel. The handle design on this 40 oz one is good, too. Also, the slider cap has a vacuum seal around the straw hole, so I suspect it is rather leakproof too. It does seem to keep the water colder than the Yeti, too, at least on my first overnight fill. Overall, the whole things pretty sturdy, so we’ll see how it holds up. Only had it a day, but I love my BDC. Very glad I took the plunge.

Easy on the eyes and hands
I get so many compliments on how beautiful this cup is. What I really life is how long is keeps my drinks cold. I also like that the handle is soft on the hand and not hard. I have EDS, so this is important or to other people with joint issues in the hand. I have since bought a different color, because I love this capacity, and model. I needed at least one more if it was in the dishwasher, but it is easy to clean by hand as well. I have dropped it a few times and there are not even scratches in the paint (dropped on asphalt, always). I love, love, love this cup!
