Has what I want for the right price
Comfortable and can’t beat the price. I feel like it’s really helped me meet my goals. I can’t imagine paying more when this watch does everything I need. I’ve even used it to answer calls and found the quality good. I bought renewed and never noticed any issues. Great deal on an item I wear daily.

Good everyday wear
This watch has been great. I can go days without charging. It charges fast and I only charge when I am in the shower and that is enough to really never have to take off. The band is soft so it doesn’t rub my skin. The screen is bright. Has a lot of feature and is customizable. The zepp app it uses tracks all the vital info I want and transmits to my Google health app. The accuracy seems to be just as good as my other watch but I don’t have to keep putting on the charger to get the benefits

Bip 5 VS Bip 5 Core
The item I bought was the renewed bip 5 core. It runs on zepp 2.1. It functions pretty much the same as the Bip 5 that runs on 3.11Main differences-1) app layout – Core has a visual picture style layout for apps and bip 5 has a list style layout for apps. I prefer the list2) bip 5 runs on 3.11, I believe this includes the minor layout differences and also calling features for call answering and Alexa.Core does not include microphone or speaker or call answering and Alexa.3) The body of both watches differs ever so slightly. Core has a thinner, flat display and supposedly weighs less. Bip 5 has thicker body with a curved display. I can barely tell the difference. Its not that significant.Hate to say it but sometimes the music player is a little glitchy, it will say im connected and then say not connected and back and forth. It still works though. It might be because I use spotify instead of apple music. Weather is never the same as what my phone says even though I have location allowed and always keep the zepp app open. Calendar event reminders wont update to the next day (for the shortcuts page only).Other than that I do love this watch. I like the way it looks and how customizable it is and it has most features of a more expensive watch. Alarms, snooze, timers, sleep monitor, breathe monitor, stress monitor, bpm, workout modes, weather, music, calendar.Calling works great. Alexa can only be used for so much like setting timers or reminders. Cant necessarily do everything that normal alexa would be able to do. You cant ask her to call or text somebody, for example.I originally had bought the BOOMIC IDW25 watch and liked the features but didnt like the app or the display. So i bought the bip 5 core from here and still wasnt super impressed but gonna be honest the zepp app is pretty great the display is amazing. They even make nice covers for this watch to protect it. This is decent for the price but I do prefer to have call answering and Alexa. So I bought a brand new bip 5 straight from the Amazfit store on Amazon. For apple users – you will not be able to respond to text messages, for android users – you may be able to respond with pre-set “quick reply” responsesSo to anyone who is thinking of buying this watch, the difference between the bip 5 and bip 5 core is the microphone and speaker.

Best Value for the Money
I’m a smartwatch junkie. I’ve bought several renewed smartwatches, every single one of them have been in like new condition.I’ve bought premium brands (e.g. Apple,. Tic watch, etc.), as well as the most highy rated least expensive brands. I always end up returning to Amazfit (e.g. Band 7, Active smartwatch, and finally the Bip 5).If you need to swim, then Amazfit Band 7 or Active smartwatch, both with 5ATM ratings are what you want.Absent swimming, no doubt the Bip 5 offers the most functionality for the price. The premium brands offer way more functionality, but you pay up to three times as much. The lesser expensive highly rated brands always fall short in 1 to 3 areas (e.g. unresponsive touch screen, notifications handling, etc.).There’s a reason the Amazfit Bip 5 is the #1 Best Seller, it deserves it.The Bip 5 band is grey (not black ), as is the base of the watch, I think they look good together. My wife noticed the curve to the watch, even though she didn’t know it is advertised as such. It’s a nice stylistic touch. The bezel on the bottom of the screen makes the visible area approximately 1.75″, not 1.91″. More than enough for me.The BIP 5 DOES NOW offer quick text replys, which I don’t think the product description indicates. Probably just a firmware update from Amazfit, which I’m thankful for.

Does not count steps accurately
I love the battery life this watch has. I bought this to replace my fitbit versa 2. I have always been able to reach my step and stair goal most days with the total 3 fitbit watches I’ve had over the years. I’ve had this watch for a few months and loved it but noticed right off the bat ,I was unable to reach my step goal and have not reached it one time since putting it on. I was chaulking it up to my old watch being worn out and I just wasn’t moving as much. Even during the holidays where I am running most of the day, I couldn’t reach 9k steps compared to almost 20k for previous watches. Today I have been doing house work since waking up ,while I am doing the dishes, I get a notification that I have been sitting for more than an hour and need to get up and move. This cemented my thoughts on the accuracy of tracking movement. It’s a great watch overall but it’s barely worth it for me if the step feature is not accurate as that is one of the main reasons I own a smart watch.

A TRUE SMART WATCH that does nat have cellular
This wash works as an actual smartwatch, it receives texts from anybody that sends to the phone, that’s one of the main reasons for the purchase! Heart rates and monitors appear to be accurate. And the band is very comfortable to wear on a large wrist. The display is large but not too large to be uncomfortable. Only had this watch for a few days but so far so good. Better than any of the $39 so-called SmartWatches available. The APP has several free watch faces and is easy 2 use, but most of the really nice ones have a fee from 99 cents to $3 per face. I will update this review for any connectivity issues once I am in the field. Don’t waste your money on the cheaper ones.
