I have bought these a couple times now. The first pack that I bought I was very happy with. However this last packet, does not stay on throughout my shower. I have to wrap my arm up with plastic bags etc. To keep water off my CGM to keep it on. Right now I have about 4 or 5 patches on just because the patches come lose if I get any kind of sweat, shower, swimming any moisture at all on the patches and they come right off and then my CGM comes off. These sensors are so expensive, I need to keep them on the duration of time. I do not know if the amount of glue they put on them changed or what. But I know they do not last as long.

Not totally water proof and doesn’t last 10 days
Update: after wearing them for awhile. They are not totally waterproof. The edges always start to come up within an hour or two. I wear mine on the back of my arms. I have to wear 2-3 at a time (off set them) so my plastic holder doesn’t pull through. Without the holder this bandages middle hole is way too big. I may have to change the bandage 2-4 times but I do wear my sensor for the full 14 days.Original post: I. wear the Libre freestyle 3. The hole is too big. I use a plastic flower to encase my CGM for more protection. The sticker is so thin it rips through so I put 2 on same thing. It has to be changed after every shower because it starts to rise up. I am not happy at all. They were cheap enough that constantly changing them is ok but takes up my time. Not what I want to worry about I want to place and forget it until time for a new sensor. Very frustrating and falsely marketed.

I have used similar patches with my G6 and they worked great. This bat that I recieved is starting to peal at the 4th day. Little disappointed.

Too large diameter.
First of all, these over-patches have a good adhesion and water resistance. I prefer the clear material, as I appreciate not drawing attention to my site when at a pool or vacationing. As a man, using these on abdomen, or thighs presents the issue with the large diameter pad taking more hair off, and discomfort in removing. If I shaved, no issue, but I decided to discontinue shaving those areas. Comparing to the other round patches out there that are a stretchy tan or multi pattern/color material, these take up substantially more space on the skin, which is not really beneficial. Also, the center hole is larger, thus not covering a Tandem infusion adhesive pad as well.

Why doesn’t everyone use these
I don’t know why these are not the number one selene item for a CGM. I used The Guardian 3 and I have never had good luck with stickers or tape. I the don’t last and pull up fast. These are the strongest best sticking easiest to use CGM tapes I have ever had! I put one on the bottom then I put the CGM in and I put one over the top and these last me at least the whole week if not longer if I choose to reuse the cgm. These holes are round.. not the oblong as other tapes I’ve used. However my transmitter fits in the hole no worries! They are so thin. I have to admit they’re hard to put on so I have help, but they don’t get pulled up in my sleep or movement or showering.. I can’t feel them, are just like 2nd skin. These last longer than any of the other brands I have tried, which is all of them. I love these and will never be using anything but these! Can’t say how much I love these.
