Most comfy and elegant impulse buy!
Let’s talk about the “I need a new outfit for a trip” mindset all women have when in fact no one has seen our “old” clothes in the first place. Are you laughing and feeling attacked all in one? Yeah I’m with you. I purchased this last minute set for Barcelona and it didn’t disappoint. I literally opened it and threw it on knowing it was PERFECT. The material is thin but not in a way you feel naked, it feels elegant, and not constricting at all. The waist line has elastic in the back of the pant and a smooth front which makes for no pinching all around. Honestly who wants elastic circumferentially? The length of the pant is perfect for any heel. The top can be worn evenly or off either shoulder. I did use a garment tape for my bra strap which I found to be the best ever (review for that in another post. No need for garment tape for the blouse as it doesn’t fall completely off. No superbowl Janet moments in this stunning ensemble, thankfully. There is an elastic around the sleeve keeping it exactly where it needs to be. No fidgeting with my blouse which can be distracting to say the least.All in all this is the best last minute travel impulse buy I’ve had in over a decade.

Very cute! No issues with size
I was really on the fence with this due to the reviews regarding size, but Amazon has a great return policy so I went for it and I’m so glad I did! I’m 5’5” and weigh 158 lbs. My stomach is my problem area. I ordered a M and the pants are a little snug around my lower stomach, but the shirt comes down and covers that area so you can’t tell at all. The length is perfect and the top fits perfectly. When I first felt the material, I thought it was going to look cheap, but once I put it on, I completely changed my mind. It’s very cute! Perfect for date night or Vegas. I did deduct one star because the material is kind of cheap feeling.

Cheap fabric
I want to love this outfit but the quality of the fabric is HORRIBLE. The fabric is cheap (white sided polyester, no tags, makes noise when you walk). Nothing soft about it. Originally ordered M but too large in the waist and hips (5′ 4, 140lb, hourglass figure). Ordered S and a bit better in the top. Definitely overpriced for over $50. More like a $25 set MAX. Very staticky when taking out of package. It really could be elegant no matter which pattern if the fabric was more fluid and soft.

Cute but needs work – thread choice on purple- white? 👎🏻
This out for could be really cute but the need attention to the detail before shipping it out. On the purple material, they should use a purple thread, not white white. You can see all the imperfections and it sticks out like a sore thumb. Not to mention if the sewing machine goes over the track more than once and it’s not a straight line and bunched up super visible. they just need to pay a little bit more attention to finishing the product with the proper threads and this outfit could be very cute. The only other issue I saw is the inside of the sleeve since it’s unfinished. If you’re wearing it off your shoulder, the one sleeve is long and it’s not a problem. The other sleeve becomes shorter and you can see inside how unfinished and how raw the material is and it looks cheap. If they just folded it in a little bit with the same color and finished it off you wouldn’t see it and it would look better more classy. If the company paid more attention and fixed these thread color issues, I’d try it again. Hope they do.

Size up??? Nah….
So I read the reviews before I ordered and I almost sized up but then I saw a video review where the purchaser said “I don’t know what the people who said size up were talking about”. I can say….I agree with her. I don’t know if something changed at the factory but there are TRUE TO SIZE. I wear a US 10, I am 160lbs, I have hips and @zz and I usually order a large so my clothes aren’t all up in my stuff and these fit perfectly. They are a little long but I’m 5’1″ so pants are almost ALWAYS too long. It’s that polyester material that seems to be in abundance in Asia but overall it was nice. Sorry I didnt take a picture but it looks just like the photo.

Great last minute option
Purchased for a Conference where one of the theme colors were pink. Received lots of compliments. Purchased a L and I normally wear a 10-12. It was not tight and it was flattering to my frame. It was not see through and the material was breathable as it was a silky material.The only thing I did not like was the top. It was too big so when it draped on my shoulder (which is why I purchased it), the entire sleeve would slip past my hand and I had to keep tugging on it to bring it back. It also showed my brassiere when sitting down and required adjusting. I fluctuate between 168-173 lbs and I’m 5’6 with wide hips.

The pant set is beautiful however Amazon’s sizing is off once again. I read the reviews combined with Amazon’s sizing and opted for a Medium instead of a Small. I looked like I was wearing a tent. The sad part was that I ordered it for a special event and couldn’t wear it because of listening to reviews that said the outfit was large on the top and tight on the bottom. Believe me when I say it was extremely huge all over, so much my alterations lady said it was impossible to alter and make it look appropriate. I am returning and reordering a small. Just be careful when you read reviews that say it is very tight, size up, etc. Go with your gut and order your size. The fabric is beautiful, classy, and one of the best pieces I have seen on Amazon.
