Let me start by saying that I have tried more than my fair share of hair curling tools over the years. From traditional curling irons to the newest automatic gadgets, I’ve experimented with almost everything on the market. My most recent purchase before trying the Tymo was a curling iron from Laniege, which I actually found pretty easy to use and was generally happy with.However, after using the Tymo, I can honestly say there is a noticeable difference in the quality of curls it produces. The curls from the Tymo look smoother, more defined, and they actually last longer throughout the day. What really sets this tool apart is how beginner friendly it is. I am not someone who wants to spend a lot of time doing my hair. If it takes more than ten minutes, I usually skip it altogether. With the Tymo, I can finish curling my whole head in under that time, which is a huge plus.The device does most of the work for you. You simply place a small section of hair into the narrow slot, and it automatically curls it and even beeps when it is done. It really takes the guesswork out of curling, which is perfect for someone like me who just wants quick and reliable results without fuss.The only downside I have noticed is that you cannot put too much hair into the tool at once. You need to work with smaller sections, which can feel a little tedious if you are in a big rush. Also, when curling your own hair, especially the back sections, it can be a bit tricky to maneuver your hair into the slot properly.That being said, I often help my daughter curl her hair, and I find it much easier to use on someone else than on myself. So if you are curling someone else’s hair, it is even more straightforward and effective.Overall, this is one of the best curling tools I have ever used. It is easy, fast, and gives salon quality results without needing a ton of effort. I definitely recommend it, especially for busy people or anyone who struggles with traditional curling irons.

When I asked her, she told me she had just gotten this curling iron. I decided to give it a try (actually, my husband bought it for me), even though I was a little apprehensive at first.My hair is fairly long, about halfway down my back, and curling it usually takes me forever. But with this device, I was able to curl my entire head so quickly, and the curls lasted all evening without any hairspray!It is super easy to use, does not tangle or burn, and I love that it has both left and right curl direction buttons. I highly recommend this excellent curling iron. It is a total game changer!MP

Easy to use and Curls for a week
Simply in love with this curler- I have a ton of fine hair that notoriously doesn’t hold a curl. This curler has cut down the amount of time it takes to curl my whole head and the curls can last for up to a week! There are 3 heat settings and changing the direction of the curls is super easy. The few times I’ve loaded my hair incorrectly causing a potential nightmare of tangling/pulling the curler automatically stops and unwinds. The automatic timer/beep letting you know it’s time to take your hair off the heat is great for damage control. Would recommend.

Process good, results just okay
I love the ease-of-use and “one-handed-ness” of the product. It cuts down on overall curl time and reduces frizz (of the curls) compared to conventional hot irons. I’ve used it quite a few times now and prefer the results of my traditional hot iron. Because I’m not able to get as close to the top of my head, the curls hold a different shape. I also find that after the first day, they’ve turned into a “curl blob” defined at the lower portion of the hair. Although it has cut down on frizz of the actual curls, it leaves top of my head more frizzy and “wonky” because I’m not able to reach high enough to get to those pieces. TL/DR: I’ll reach for this when I’m short on time, but much prefer the results and control of my traditional hot iron

I have 65 year old thick, long, curly, frizzy course grey hair that I colour every 8 weeks. I’ve never been successful with a curling iron that gives a great look and lasts more than a day. This TYMO CURLPRO PLUS automatic curling iron 1.25 inch was a game changer for me. It has been the easiest tool I’ve ever used and the curls last. As my hair is typically quite dry, I can go seven days between washings and my hair still looks great without the need to touch it up. Photos were taken day one of wash day and then six days later. It takes approximately 10 minutes to curl my hair now. It comes with three heat settings. I use the lowest setting with a heat protectant oil. It has a toggle switch to control the direction of the curl for face framing. As for addressing anyone’s fear of getting your hair tangled up in this tool, I experienced this once when I didn’t insert the hair properly, it has an auto shut off function to allow you to release your hair to avoid burn issues. I’m so impressed with this tool that I had to write a review, which I rarely do. As for the longevity of this product, I’ve had this for two months now and praying it will have a long life.
