My hair usually resists curling unless I get a perm. I used these curlers while my hair was damp. Left them in overnight and they were comfortable to sleep in. Wow! My curls lasted all day long. I love the animal print, too. Money well spent, I highly recommend.

I have pretty long hair. The foam curler itself is small. The first time I used them, I got very tight ringlets 😳 The second time, I put 2 rollers together (side by side to make a “thicker” roller). It worked much better, had bigger curls. The curls lasted well over a day.

Long hair, too small.
If you have long hair, these are very small and will be hard to get them to work. They are well made, once you let them puff back up after receiving them (shrink wrapped.) The issue is the small roller inside and the length. If they just had a larger roller in both width and length, they would be perfect. As it is, I may send back and just stick with the ‘no heat curling headband.’ That one works great for long hair. Don’t be discouraged by the vacuum seal
Yes, these came totally flattened because they were vacuum sealed. To get them to plump up, I dipped them in a bowl of water, gently squeezed most of the water out, put them in my salad spinner to get all the water out, then put them in a lingerie bag and tossed them in the dryer with a load of towels. They are perfect now. I have had these type of rollers before and they are very comfortable to sleep on and they give beautiful curls. No heat. So much easier than pin curling your hair or sleeping on sponge rollers.

These curlers came shrink wrapped, and when I finally got them free and open, they had a very bad smell. I let them air for two days, but could not change the smell and ended up tossing them —couldn’t imagine putting those stinky things in my hair. I’m not someone who leaves reviews, but I thought others might need to know this before purchasing.

These are the only kind of little rollers I can sleep in and it is amazing to wake up and it is great to wake up and have your hair done . These are better than the Conair ones because the con air are extraordinarily poorly made and they tend to get holes on the ends so far these are a little more durable

I ordered 48 which was 24 more than I actually used for my long curly hair .Easy to use . I did on wet hair without products and used hairdryer. I then slept in them.Was mega curly ringlets and I had to ruffle them up. Next time I’ll do thicker sections . Depends on your hair type and length but I would say trial and error for technique and results to suit your taste.Great gift idea. My 71 year old mum has some and uses regularly. Her hair is fine and a short Bob. Teenagers or younger would also like . Suit any age wanting to curl hair .

Arrived in vacuumed bag totally flat. Had to soak in the water and dry before use. Thanks to other people commented in that way, otherwise I would be returning. I understand vacuuming, takes extremely less space for postage. After soaking and drying they are not damaged, well shaped like never flattened. The only thing is you have to do that step before using. Could have longer sponge, it’s really short. But for me it’s fine, as I’m doing a lot of little strands to have effect I want, if you are gonna have 12-20 or similar on long hear – it’s not for you. For my shoulder length hair about 40 sponges on head is perfect size. Soft for sleeping, don’t slips down from hair, if you manage the right angle, there is no deformation on root.RECOMMEND FOR SHORT AND MEDIUM HAIR, maximum small strands rather than fever due to short sponge.

I have thick poker straight hair. Nothing I do makes it curl. Curling irons do work but they drop out after an hour. These are a life changer. Depending on what kind of curl you want do bigger sections for bigger looser curls smaller sections for ringlets. They are so much more comfortable than anything else I’ve tried. Easy to put in and take out. When they come vacuum sealed just leave them out overnight and they puff back up. You don’t need to get them wet and go to the trouble if you don’t want to. I have very long hair down to the small of my back and I still had some left over and they curled my hair etc. Honestly…these are fantastic
