    Cute and functional
I really like this product. I waited to give my review until after my sensor came off so I could compare it to my first experience. I was given a trial monitor through my doctor’s office to see and the sensor lasted all of 7 days in my arm. From the first day the nurse put it in the edges of the protective cover she used started to peel while the Simpatch lasted 11 days and I honestly believe it would have lasted the other 3 days if I didn’t get hair conditioner on it.So for my first sensor after application the nurse applied a layer of Skin Tac and then placed the cover. Within the first few hours the edges were peeling. In contrast the Simpatch did not start peeling at the edges until day 8 when I deep conditioned my hair. I believe some of the conditioner got on the edges because after that it started to peel around the edges. Prior to that I took my showers like normal, twice a day and no issues. I had to be careful about lotion application but again no issues. So I’m excited to see if I last the full 14 days once I tweak my routine.Overall I love the choice of colors, ease of use and durability of the product. It certainly extended the time the sensor stayed in my arm and it stayed in place until the conditioner got on it which in hind sight makes sense, because my conditioner has oil in it. Also the seller is great. When you place your order they send you an instruction pdf and also send you an email asking if you have any questions. Its pretty reassuring to know that they are ready and willing to answer any questions you have..

Worth it for the peace of mind!
I recently started using the Freestyle Libre, but I had no idea how stressful it would actually be. For the first 10 days, my blood sugar probably increased 100% just because of how stressed and panicked I was that the sensor was going to fall off. This worry came about just with normal everyday life, especially in TX with the insane heat and heat-induced sweat, but intensified whenever I had to shower, if it rained outside, and even with just going to bed.I started looking for solutions everywhere, as I refused to go back to constant finger pricks, but knew I’d have to if I couldn’t make the Freestyle Libre work. I eventually ended up living life with one of those bandages that sticks to itself around my arm, nearly cutting off my circulation and probably messing up my readings, for most of the week. It gave me a bit more peace of mind when it came to the sensor, but was painful and expensive over time. I couldn’t imagine having to pay upwards of $10 a week just to make sure my sensor stays on.Once I was thoroughly frustrated and reconsidering my choice of using the Freestyle Libre, I discovered a bunch of websites selling patches that go over your sensor. It was the perfect idea, however all of these places were selling them for around $3-5 a patch individually AND they would be coming from either Canada or Australia. Not only would the price increase because of exchange rates, but the shipping cost would be astronomical since these were small businesses having to ship internationally, and the shipping time wouldn’t work for me with the end of my 10 days approaching fast. For some reason, I didn’t look on Amazon until the last second. Lo and behold, Simpatch to the rescue! It again seemed perfect (spoiler alert: it is perfect): nearly all 4 and 5 star reviews, a 3 month supply at ~$1 patch couldn’t be beat, AND they had actual colors. (To be honest, I was and still am a little self conscious about my sensor being visible in public, but at least with a colored one I can pretend it’s a fashion statement!) Oh, and Prime shipping, of course! So it was an instant buy for me.Now onto my experience with the product. The first night I had it on, I had the best sleep I’d had that week. I think I might’ve woken up once throughout the night to do a frantic check to make sure the sensor was still attached to my body, but as soon as I felt the patch there, I was instantly back asleep. Even if this product didn’t work, which it does, it would honestly be worth it for me JUST for the peace of mind I now feel. These things are INSANELY sticky, so you’ll want to make sure you put it on one side at a time. That said, once it’s on, that thing is on for the long haul. I freak out every time I have to remove my sensor, but the stickers are now harder to remove than the sensors themselves! This is a good thing because 1) It really means that those patches aren’t falling off, 2) It means that those patches aren’t going to let your sensor fall off, and 3) It distracts me from thinking about the sensor coming out, and they usually come off together, so it’s 2-in-1!FINAL THOUGHTS: If you’re new to the Freestyle Libre, get these patches. If you’ve had the Freestyle Libre for a while now, get these patches. If you’re worried that your sensor’s going to fall off, get these patches. If you want to ensure that you get your full wear out of your sensors, get these patches. Heck, even if you’re kinda weird and want to wear a circular patch as an accessory, get these patches! These patches are a great buy, they’re well made, and they’re a great price for the number of patches you receive. I know that I will be a buyer of these patches until I stop using the Freestyle Libre, which I don’t see happening for quite a while now that I’ve discovered these as a solution.

    Pretty Good, Would Recommend
I’ve been a type 1 diabetic for 8 years and I just recently started using the Freestyle Libre 14 day sensor system. Before I did any research I applied the first sensor to me and it fell off after a day. So after learning my lesson, I took the time to look into it a little more. I ordered some of these SIMPATCH Adhesive Patches and used it when I applied another sensor and it lasted for a week before it really started to peel up. I didn’t want to take any chances with another sensor falling off, so I decided to change the patch and also applied some Skin Tac before doing so. I’m not sure if these patches are advertised to last for the full 14 days, but I really don’t think mine would’ve lasted that long. In saying that, it definitely has been a big help and seemingly a much better adhesive than just the sensor alone. I haven’t tried any other brands for this type of thing, so I can’t say this is the best out there. At this point though, I would recommend these if you are also having trouble with your sensor alone staying adhered to your skin.

    Good quality item, works well!
I purchased a package of Simpatch patches when I started using a Freestyle Libre 14 day CGM 3 weeks ago. I had read many comments online about people having trouble keeping the sensor in place for the full 14 days, and many people recommended Simpatch or similar products to keep the sensor on. I am very pleased with this product. It stayed firmly in place for about 11 days, through showers and exercising in hot humid weather, and when the edges started to become loose, I just trimmed off the loose parts and the patch continued to hold the sensor in place for the full 14 days. I think it’s a great product and works as advertised. Although some people commented that it is too big and doesn’t cover the edges of the sensor’s adhesive, I did not find this to be the case – it fit perfectly, as long as you don’t stretch the patch as you’re applying it. Application is a bit difficult – since the only approved site for wearing the Libre sensor is the back of the arm, that leaves only 1 hand free to apply the Simpatch, which I found nearly impossible. It’s much easier to just have a friend or family member put it on. Great product and the company seems very interested in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Veramente soddisfatto.
