Perfect Novice Hiking Shoe
Light-weight and comfortable, but still offers the traction and support to help traverse the rocky Maine trails. Because they’re breathable, my feet stay warm without getting sweaty and damp. True to size.

Very good shoes, took 1 star off for walking on wet surfaces
I bought these due to a foot and knee problem. I gave AI a list of my foot/knee issues, then gave it a list of shoes I liked, and it picked these. Since I haven’t had the best of luck buying shoes on my own (some have made my conditions worse) I went with AI’s choice.First, they don’t have alot of cushion but that was something I wanted as for some foot problems, shoes with too much cushion can make stuff worse. My other shoes were Sketchers D’lites (super cushioned) so it took a few days to get used to these but, they are are actually more comfortable to me now then previous shoes, and they are more stable. They are VERY light, i was amazed by that when I first got them, and they are good for stabilizing and arch support which was something else I needed.SIZE: I have always worn a 8 or 8.5 in womens, I was going to order a 8 but AI suggested 8.5 and I’m GLAD I went with that, they fit but just barely I mean they are comfortable but if I had thick socks (I don’t normally wear those) they would be too tight. So if you wear regular socks go with your size, if you want to wear thicker socks, go a half size up.I ordered the wide width as I do in all shoes and they were wide enough without being overly so.I’ve never been a huge fan of mesh stuff on shoes, to me to wears down to fast and lets water in when your walking through wet grass. But I also live where its super hot and humid in the summer so I think these will do great for that, probably be a bit chilly on the toes in the winter (I am a person who tends to wear the same shoes year round unless we have a foot of snow or something). The one big CON….WATCH YOUR STEP ON ANY WET SURFACE. I walk daily so I like to think I’m fairly sure footed, and I know new shoes can be slick at first, and I know some wet surfaces like wood deck can be slick. But I went to walk out my back door and nearly fell on the wet wood deck, not only did I do the splits lol, but I slide a few feet while standing up before I came to a stop, deck was like SOLID ICE and its summer time, just a wet deck after a rainstorm. I went into basement with unfinished concrete floor which is smooth but doesn’t have any sealant or anything on it, because my shoes were still slightly damp I almost fell in the basement as well. I decided to test them out on other surfaces since it just rained so I know what surface to be careful on. The sidewalk was also slick, not as bad as the deck or basement but I had to be very careful going up and down the front concrete steps and sidewalk. They did fine on the gravel driveway and on grass, and when they aren’t wet they do have excellent traction. I think after they get scuffed up a bit on the bottom from walking they will be fine, but for the first few days or week of using them I’d 100% be super careful on wet surfaces or go for a walk in them right away on a paved or gravel road to rough up the bottoms a bit.Aside from nearly breaking my neck on my deck lol, I am very happy with them so far, and would buy them again.

Great for Gardening
Love these shoes. Very comfortable, great for being in all day. Have worn them gardening and doing yard work and they’ve held up so far. I tend to run my sneakers bare so I hope these last longer than a year or two but time will tell! They’re roomy in the toes so I don’t feel squished, high enough on the arch and the bed is cushioned. Would purchase again.

Great Shoes for Great Price
I’m planning a thru hike in a few months and I got these trail runners for day training hikes on rocky trails. The narrower toe box fits my somewhat narrow foot well. These shoes are very comfortable, have good cushioning, fit well overall, and look nice, all for a great price.

Weak spot makes a hole.
I have been buying saucony for 20+ years but unfortunately a design flaw where the upper mesh meets with the toe box, causes a hole from friction of the toes against the internal mesh. So the result is that these shoes will have holes on the toe box before you even start to wear them on the sole. This is very frustrating and maddening. I stopped buying Saucony and opted for Asic instead. Then went back to Saucony trails…..different models same issue. I wish Saucony would fix this problem extending their hard rubber part further . Other than that the shoe fits well and it is great and comfortable not only for trail but for all terrains.

Comfortable, sturdy, good price shoes
I bought these shoes for walking and working in my yard. They feel sturdy and comfortable. The price was right too. My only regret was that I bought the light gray ones because they were a little cheaper in price, the stretchy knit upper that makes them so comfortable gets dirty fast. Next time I will spend a little more and get the darker color.

Fits just right, but squeaky.
The fit is perfect and they look exactly as shown, but they squeak a little when I walk. It’s possible they just need broken in?

I almost didn’t order these since returns are such a hassle now that UPS has been dropped as an option (yes I tried the free pick up, 3or4 attempts and the driver never showing up so wasted days). I was so desperate for a new pair of shoes I took a chance and I’m glad I did. So comfortable! The sole has spring to it, not just a cushioned insole like so many others, and the tread is quite grippy. This shoe provides very stable footing. Even without orthotics they had a bit of arch support built into the structure of the shoe, again, not just the insole. I normally wear New Balance and was looking for a trail runner that would have a similar fit/tilt in the footbed, these did the job, perhaps even better than my NB runners. I purchased wide so my toes would have room and these are almost perfect across the toes, the width seems to be more in the back of the foot which is too loose for me but proper lacing with that odd extra hole helps stabilize my heel. The shoe has plenty of depth to lace up over high arches though the laces took some fiddling to be long enough to tie up. Normally I’m a size 7.5-8 but I ordered 8.5 to be safe and of course they are a bit too big. Oh well, room for warm socks, nect time I’ll order my regular size.Materials: these are not leather, which is a plus for me. They look and feel well constructed. The mesh is very breathable, I can kind of see my toes through the material, which would be good for warm weather and need a warm pair of socks in cooler weather. The colour is better than in the picture.Since these shoes are less than half the price of my last pair of NB, I am quite happy.

I used to buy the cheap Walmart shoes. But they never lasted very long, so a waste of money. The older I get the more I realize that an expensive pair of name brand shoes is much better for my aging self along with the fact that they last way longer. The support and fit is amazing! I went from Walmart to Sketchers, of which I still buy on occasion, but Saucony shoes are at the top of my list for comfort and style!! They can be a bit pricey, but well worth it! This is coming from a super penny pincher. 😉

These are a decent shoe. I would buy them again. I have tender feet, so, finding decent, comfortable shoes are difficult, they’re alight. I think instead of a 7.5 , I should have gotten a 7 wide to accommodate a bunion. But these will work. I love the style. colour options are good. I’d say these fit true to size, otherwise I’d have gotten the size 7s. Quality is good. I’ve bought this brand many times in the past, and will continue to do so in future.
