4, click on the “Bluetooth logo” on the page and it will go to “Searching for the smart devices”. When you find “Runstar-RX”(bluetooth name of scale), click to complete the connection. At this point, please note that a connected logo will appear on the screen of the scale.

It works well!
I bought this after trying similar device that was twice the price. Unfortunately that device barely connected with my phone and when it did it would not complete the measurements. This device was ready to go after I put the batteries in and it connected to the app in seconds. I have no idea how accurate this device is compared to a machine scan but it is consistent to itself. That means that I can use it to track my progress which is the best you can expect for a home device.

I’ve been very impressed with this scale. The quality and design feel far from cheap, and the display is clear and easy to read. A great feature is the loud audio feedback, which makes it easy to hear even with background noise like a loud fan. It’s also very convenient that it’s battery-powered, so I don’t have to worry about charging it or leaving it out on a table.I did have a small issue with the first one, but the customer support was fantastic. Good scales…. but I take issue with the App !!
So the elephant in the room, is that I am NOT an elephant. The Star Fit app basically says I am gigantically obese when my BMI puts me just into overweight by any online guide. I’m well below the BMI of 30 that you need to be to be considered obese. The app basically wants you to be skeletal before it will announce that you are okay. So I would say take the amazingly detailed measurements that it shows you and look at several other online guides to get a better idea of how you are doingThe scales themselves are good, I was disappointed that at this price point they take batteries rather than having an internal battery with a USB C recharge that many budget scales have these days. The build quality doesn’t seem stunningly solid. Let’s see how they do over the next few years with the daily wear and tear on me using them every morning. I like the voice prompts, it might seem a stupid gimmick but it means I can stay in the right position upright with arms out for the fat measurement and I know when it’s finished.

I really like this scale, it’s sleek and smaller than it looks in the picture. And to top it off, I ended up having a small issue with the pull cord retraction and the company replaced my whole scale in a couple days! Couldn’t ask for better customer service – thank you 🙏

I have been using this scale every day at different times of the day. People said the accuracy varies depending on your state of hydration, and it did show some slight variation. However, the variation was not too far away, and using it shows how my health was trending. The difference in body fat was approximately 0.5% between my dry state and my hydrated state, which was insignificant enough. The true goal I should have focused on was to collect the data over time, which is why I’m now taking measurements continuously.
