10-21-25 – In fact, I just bought two more sets! These are great! *I am trying to update this review, so please ignore the “one star” review below, as they actually do work and I would give them four stars. Here is my updated text: These are sweet! I plugged them into my desktop port to charge. At first, I was left confused because they didn’t seem to work and that was frustrating. Upon reading another reviewer, they suggested that you have to hold down the button on the white device for a long period to initially activate them, after which the regular remote works well to turn them on and off and switch them between the various functions. I prefer the softly undulating settings to the blinking ones. There are many choices. The lights are delicate and will be used to gently illuminate a woodland figure setting on a tabletop here during the holidays and all winter long. Very glad to have these. Instructions appear daunting and more complicated than necessary. Simpler bolder directions with clarity would be more useful. Older Review – please ignore as these actually do work! I’ve seen some reviewers rave and others give one star (if I could give none, I would). These have been “charging” for hours and do not work!! The remote is flimsy. There is a battery in it and I did remove the slip so the battery can activate. They just DO NOT WORK. Honestly, let’s return to products that you just plug into the wall and hit and on/off switch for. The frustration is so annoying and to purchase stuff like this and then have to return is a process that most busy people don’t have the time for. There are enough one-star reviews for me to give a caution warning to those intending to purchase. Sure, some reviewers have had a great experience, but some haven’t, so it’s basically a case of luck if you order. Sad, because I’d wanted mini fairy lights for a while and decided to go for these. Not earth shattering, but, for those who purchase, this could go either way.

Not bad, remote didn’t work
Aside from the remote not working, these seem pretty good. Not as bright as Id hoped but pretty good.I’ll update as to longevity of the battery before needing to recharge.

And the best part? We haven’t had to recharge them at all since that initial night. Two weeks of nightly glow therapy with zero complaints? I’m convinced these LEDs are secretly powered by unicorn tears or some other fairy-approved magic.The removable battery pack is a stroke of genius. It’s so easy to recharge that even I, who occasionally struggles to plug in a toaster correctly, can manage it. A little too unpredictable
I turned this in at like 5 on a Sunday and used the timer function, so they were on for 6 hours, off for 18, and back on for 6. The first cycle was great. They turned on but didn’t stay on during the second but not because the power drained. I can turn then on manually, but they keep turning off independent of the timer and seemingly at random.These have a nice soft glow. I think they look cooler than warm, brighter white than theore yellow light I’m used to from fairy lights, but they’re still very gentle and not jarring. I wanted to hang these in my yard for use with the timer, but they’re better suited for random occasions than regular.

When I opened the box as soon as I looked at them I knew they did not work.First line says user must have read and understand these original operating instructions. I mean how hard is it to turn them on and off after charging. Well I guess when they don’t work it does not matter !!Arrived broken

USB rechargeable fairy lights.
Love using fairy lights for decorative use but a USB rechargeable is a game changer. No heavy weight box of batteries that need to be changed out often. Just pop in the USB in any port, wait until the red light turns green and you are good to go again. Remote lets you turn on and off and change lighting sequences. I create these wall hangings for knitters and this light strand knits up easily and love the look of the lights.
