Direct replacement
After the inducer went out on my furnace I found the unit for about 200 bucks online aftermarket. I decided to check Amazon and it was 100 dollars cheaper so I gave it a try. No complaints, seems well built and definitely a thicker metal than the original one. It’s been installed for a few weeks now and no issues. First thing I did notice was how quite this unit is compared to the original. Super easy to install with only a flat head (atleast on my furnace).

Exact replacement for Goodman OEM fan.
A friend called and told me her furnace wasn’t working. Unfortunately, we only ever tend to realize this when it’s cold out, and need heat. I’m not a furnace repair technician, but I’ve done work on my own units in the past, and helped other friends with theirs when they were in need.There are several things one should probably know, prior to attempting to repair a furnace……but I’ll just say this: If you don’t have a decent understanding of electrical or gas safety, just call a trained professional, if you can afford to.That being said…..after taking a look at her furnace, and checking the fault lights on the control board, checking the pressure switch to verify operation, etc…..I was able to determine that, even though the Inducer fan on her unit was functioning (without any noticeable noise/vibration/etc), it was in need of replacement. After throroughly cleaning/vacuuming the furnace out, and reinstalling the new inducer fan, the furnace worked flawlessly, and she was able to avoid freezing.She has an older Goodman GMP100-4 furnace, and this replacement unit was an exact match for the unit that I removed.When replacing pressure switches/inducer motors/etc……remember, that they’re not universal. Make sure you buy the right part for your furnace.This inducer motor was well packaged, and did have the gasket already mounted to the fan housing. At this price (less than $70 at the time of purchase, with same day shipping) it really was a great buy. Would definitely recommend this product.

Good replacement
I bought this unit as a replacement for my Goodman furnace. It was a perfect fit, at an affordable price. The installation was straight forward. The only reason I do not give them 5 stars is that they did not supply the screws.

The plastic round end cap was broken and rubbing. I took off the old one and swapped them. Thankfully they were the same size.Tip. Brush and vacuum everything out real fast and swap the plastic exhaust duct adapter and your good

Used this to replace a inducer on a older furnace. Fit perfect and worked like it should. It was not loud operated just like the oem unit. Came in a day early so that was a bonus and was a lot cheaper than the supply house.

Easy install with one tool. Very fast shipping
Assembly arrived quickly. The installation was very easy and straight forward. It took less than 30 min start to finish.Our furnace is in the attic. I made sure to take a few pics of the existing installation. The install is again straight forward. I removed the three screws holding the exhaust vent adapter just in case there they were stuck. I removed the blower assembly screws that held it in place by starting at the top screw and working counter clockwise. At the last screw I held the blower assembly up and pulled it away as one unit. The original had a metal reducer plate in placed. with gasket material on both sides. The new assembly has a felt gasket. I chose to use the metal plate between the assembly and the furnace. From the looks of it, it can get pretty hot and there probably some condensation buildup from the rust I seen. Lining up the top screw and giving it a few turns, I was able to line up the other three screws and tighten them all down evenly. Once those were secure I tightened up the three vent adapter screws. Put the service panel back on. From my NEST app I set the temp to request heat and the furnace fired right up. There wasn’t any delay. The best part was the blower was very quiet. Much quieter than the original, which squealed so loud it woke my kids up in the middle of the night.I am very happy with the ease of the install. I replaced this on a Goodman gmp075-4 furnace. It replaced a Jakel INC J238-112-11128 part
