5 StarsEvery now and then I need to this. It is way more convenient than a rolled up towel.I would recommend the firm foam, which is not nearly as firm as one would think.So the soft foam would be ineffective.I’m 5’8″” and average weight.

Helps my posture
I sit at a desk often and because of this am getting terrible posture. This was recommended to me and now i take it everywhere because it helps! Recently used on a long plane flight and it may have been the first time my back didn’t hurt. Great purchase for me and i would definitely do it again.

I think that all the lumbar rolls are made to fit most men. The one I purchased is somewhat large for my lumbar area and is very hard.

The original McKenzie brand-name is synonymous with quality and performance for anything to do with back pain, relief, or as part of a back-related rehabilitation or maintenance exercise program. Nice fabric on the outside, sturdy foam cushion on the inside, wrapped in a cellophane or plastic, which increases its longevity and utility overtime. Has a strap to adjust over chair or seat. My surgeon recommended that I also use the D-Section lumbar roll by Original McKenzie for certain floor-based exercises to increase the archness of my lower back that he says is also important for overall strengthening and rehabilitation. Very easy to use and it’s comfortable.

Needs to be bigger and much more firm
– Foam compresses so much that it is almost useless- Its too small, when it compresses it feels like a relatively narrow/sharp pressure in the back- Needs to be quite a bit bigger and quite a bit firmer to be effective- The strap is not strong enough or built well enough to be able to keep the support in place without moving all over or even sagging- Have to constantly reposition it as it easily moves or gets out of position, this is probably the most frustrating aspect of it- Strap stretched out very quickly and stayed permanently stretched out even when I avoided tightening it too much- Strap appears to be already starting to come apart

excellent condition, replacing exactly the same item since i lost it at a hotel in Germany; it is the original; same high quality; very fast delivery from US to Germany, and nonsense, since they thankfully deliver from amazon (most likely using UPS), not this catastrophic nonsense as with DHL, HERMES, Deutsche Post DPD, etc. who simply cannot got the stored delivery infro and put you through hoops before they deliver…becasue they don’t check the delivery instructions as given in the amazon account, they simply make yuu pick up…so why would I even want to buy and get it “delivered”?

The Solution. I bought another device on Amazon that people recommended for backs but it didn’t have significant lumbar support. I have a curve in my lower back and if you need strong and sturdy lower back/lumbar support this “D” shaped cushion is perfect.Round cushions roll away and shift, other cushions are so soft they collapse and don’t provide support. This one is PERFECT and is strong enough to hold your back all day or night long. I highly recommend this cushion.
