Soft clips that don’t hurt your head
Bought these clips on Prime Day. They turned out to be much larger than what I normally wear, but they are still really nice clips. If you wear claw clips in your hair, you know that some of them will be made so that the tips of the claws protrude and stab you in the head all day. These do not do that at all, they are nicely curved/closed so that the tips aren’t poking you. Even with some of them made like this, the hard plastic can be uncomfortable on your scalp. These are a very interesting plastic. They seem plenty sturdy, but there is just a bit of flex/softness to them, so they don’t hurt at all. They have an soft texture feel to them that is very pleasing. So far they seem very sturdy. I haven’t used any kind of hair spray or anything on my hair with them in yet, so I don’t know if it would mess with the texture/coating or not. The colors are very pretty and go with lots of stuff. I really like them, and would be happy to have some more in a bit smaller size.

Good quality but square is smaller than expected
These are strong and good quality, but the square ones are NOT 4.75” as advertised. They are closer to 3.8”. See pic. I contacted the seller and they said they would make it more clear in the description. They did not offer me any larger clips or any resolution. That would have been nice. They hold my medium long thick hair but are too small for my daughter’s thick curly hair. Taking away two stars because it has been a few weeks and the description remains the same.

Long, thick hair- yes, try these!
My hair is legitimately so thick and long- I use 2 hair ties to keep it secured in a bun and when it’s in a high ponytail, it still drapes over my shoulder. I’ve bought and returned many hair clips because they just can’t hold my hair, even temporarily. THESE WORK! They’re longer than the standard everyday clip, but more importantly, they open wider and have longer claws so they hold more. I’m a low maintenance hair girl and needed something for my new job… stylish and functional. Perfect. If you’re debating, just go for it.*Pic- I twisted my hair low and wrapped it 3 times before clipping… everything is tight and secure.
