Lavender Steam Eye Mask – A perfect little spa treat for tired, puffy eyes
I love these eye masks! I have been having issues with dry eye and skin irritation but, had no idea that these masks would help so much with this. My original thought was, oh this would be nice to try on my flights to and from NYC (4 hours) and when I do my face masks, or just as a whenever treat for myself.These masks are every easy to use and start to warm up as soon as you pull the two sides apart and get the ear loops opened up to put on. Don’t be afraid of the thin material and stretching them to fit – Trust the process – it works! As for the scent, I love lavender and did not find this to be overpowering at all, barely noticeable for me. The heat is a perfect level – gentle enough but strong enough to create the steamy/moist experience that soothed my eyes perfectly. I set my timer for 15 minutes, though you can go up to 30 and I would imagine, beyond that because the heat lasted beyond 30 minutes. I will definitely do this on my next flight to NYC, shortly before landing time to refresh my eyes from the long flight. After 30 minutes, my eyes feel better and my skin around them looks better – the puffiness was virtually gone and my eyes themselves, felt less dry. Another great product from Maree and one I will be choosing again. These would also make a great gift to tuck into a spa themed gift basket.

Strong scent, but works as intended
The scent is strong, and, to me, it smells like old lady soap- I really don’t know how else to put it. It steams nice, it’s comfortable, it gets the job done, but the smell is VERY strong and almost artificially floral. I was expecting something a little more subtle and true lavender… I probably won’t buy again just because of the scent, but the product works well (good heat and mask design).

Maree 3 in 1 Relaxed Me into Deep Sleep
I had my doubts – everything I’ve read says you need cool conditions to promote sleep.Last night, I found myself up past my normal bedtime with no sign of drifting off. It was time to try Maree. The box contains 16 individually wrapped masks. The mask is shaped like sunglasses. A slit at the bottom center allows it to create a space for the nose, The outer layer is a non-stretchy blue material; the inner layer is a very soft cottony feeling material that also make up the ear loops. Between the layers are squares that rest over each eye.The mask smells of perfume – sweeter than lavender, I think but not something I could identify. I was pleased that the fragrance was not overwhelming.When I opened the package, unfolded and secured it over my ears, I felt immediate pleasant warmth. I also noticed that the mask completely blocked the light. I would like to tell you more of what happened next, but frankly, I don’t remember – sleep came quickly. At some point, I removed the mask, and noticed that my skin under the mask (eyelids, nose bridge and under eye area felt damp…. and then I fell back to sleep.I will enjoy using these when I travel – they would be wonderful if I must take a long, overnight flight, but also as I try to adapt to a new sleep setting when I am away. And they will also be great on those nights at home when sleep is elusive.

Actually produces moist heat, but I didn’t smell the lavender
The Maree Steam Eye Mask surprised me by producing moisture on my eyelids and around my eyes. I had previously tried a less expensive brand that produced heat but no steam, so I was expecting the same. Amazingly, the Maree Steam Eye Mask actually produces moist heat.The amount of heat is perfect. It is strong and satisfying without being too hot. I kept mine on for 30 minutes, and it was still going strong.Although the ear straps appear flimsy, they secure the mask well and comfortably.The one area where the Maree Steam Eye Mask misses the mark is the Lavender scent. The mask smells faintly of baby powder, but I do not smell lavender at all.Highly recommended for the comfort, steam, and heat. Not recommended if you are looking for a lavender scent.

Great for relaxing
These were so relaxing to use, the portion placed over the eyes is a bit thicker than other eye steam masks while the portion going around the ears is still nice, thin and stretchy. They take a few seconds to heat up but feel like they get slightly warmer than others and the scent is perfect! I am usually not a fan of lavender in general as it smells to fake or overpowering, but once in use these gave off a very light natural lavender scent that smelled amazing. Only change i wished they were not squared as they fully do not position well over the eyes for full contact, but still worked well. This bigger pack is good for multiple users or if you using a couple times a week.

Extremely relaxing and comfortable
These are shockingly nice. I was not expecting a lot but they’re really delightful; they heat up to a really nice temperature that’s really comforting but not too hot, the lavender smell is strong enough to be noticeable but not so much as to be excessive, and most importantly, they’re comfortable! I have a big head and am pretty sensitive to pressure on it so I was a little skeptical going in to this, but these eye masks loop over your ears instead of going behind your head (a biggie for me) and are great for not only relaxing but those mornings when your alarm goes off and you go “I just need 15 more minutes in bed…”These ARE single use disposable masks, and they just have paper ear loops rather than fabric, so don’t expect to be able to use them multiple times- they’re marketed as single use for a reason!No complaints. I like these enough that now I’m looking into more permanent heated eye masks!
