Firm support with options
Being of short stature (5’0″, 130 lb)) and short legs, most sofas and other furniture tends to be too tall and too deep to sit comfortably. As the furniture breaks in, I end up sinking into the seat and slouching, a lot, and have tried many chair and back pillows. Most overcompensate the other way and are too large and to hard. This pillow is just the right size for the lower back, and has contoured sides (fits more like a sports car seat) so it is more supportive overall — keeps it in place and keeps you in place. The memory foam is firm and it’s contoured (the lines on the photo are to emphasize the contour lines, there are no lines on the actual product). In the center, there is a small bump to give a little bit extra support. It’s a little firm, but could get used to it.The one downside that could also be an upside: When you get up, it tips over on it’s front. Sitting back down, it tends to flip so the backside is against your back not the chair — but that’s ok because then the bump is not noticeable and it’s still very supportive. So you basically have two support options to choose from.Got another for family member who is taller but also ends up slumped into chair, as they are thin.

Good lumbar support.
It arrived next day and I have been using it in the car and it’s great. It comes all squished up in a plastic bag which made it a little hard to get out. It opened up promptly though and provides pretty comfortable support. It also comes with a vinyl carry bag which looks like it might be a struggle to get it in there

Well made product – but
Although the measurements for this lumbar support were listed on the ad I found it was bulkier than I’d expected. I especially found the lumbar bump to be larger than I actually need. I’m going to keep it because I can use in in my office for both lumbar support (when I slouch in my chair) and a head rest for my office chair (slouching again). It is VERY slippery and tends to slip out from behind me. Keep in mind I only use this is a leather office chair so it might work for you if your are going to use it in a fabric chair. I also plan to take it on the airplane so the fabric slip shouldn’t be a problem there. On the positive side it did give me strong lumbar support and was comfortable to use.

Great little pillow, for some reason I now get a sore back when riding in the car for an extended time. This pillow fits just right and helps.

Safe Bet to Add to an Electric Wheelchair
Excellent Lower Back Support CushionI bought this for my dad’s electric wheelchair, and it has made a big difference. It provides great lower back support, stays firmly in place without slipping, and is wide enough to cover the full width of his back. The cushion feels sturdy and comfortable, giving him extra support throughout the day. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable back support in a wheelchair.

Nice pillow, but not firm.
I was searching for a pillow that provided lower back support when sitting for long periods. After reading several reviews, I ordered 2 of these pillows because I liked this style & was able to order a color that went with my decor. It would be perfect, however, it is not firm enough to provide the support I want, so I returned them.

Perfect lumbar support pillow
It’s perfect. It’s not stiff. I don’t even notice that it’s there. I got a brand new chair for the living room. Stting in the first night made my low back hurt. I found this pillow from the video, it looked softer, bendable. When I got it the next day. It was everything I wanted it to be!
