Good quality dress
The dress was well designed and has good quality fabric. The fabric has some stretch to it and also comes with pockets. Be mindful not to put too much weight in the pockets. The dress will stretch and show that you have something in them. The dress is very comfortable and suited my body type perfectly.

Perfect dress!
I love this dress! It is so comfortable and a really pretty color. The pockets are big enough to be useful. I really like the three-quarter length sleeves and the pleats. It is a modest dress but I feel very pretty in it. I wore it with sandals today but it could be dressed up a little more with different shoes and jewelry choices could dress it up or down also. I am 5’2 and it falls well below the knee without touching my feet or feeling too long. The fabric thickness is substantial so that I am not worried about it being see-through. I am all about clothing that is both pretty and practical, that is forgiving on a woman of middle age she is not as small as she used to be, and that I don’t have to think too much about when making decisions about what to wear. This dress is all of those things.

Returning – no care taken at pattern matching
I have an upcoming knee replacement surgery and needed something loose to fit over my head after surgery. This dress has a lot going for it, but it’s going back.ProsLove the 3/4 sleevesMaterial – Great weight on the dress – not to heavy, not to light or flimsyLove the midi lengthThe background color is niceThe fit is comfortable – I normally wear a large, but wanted it roomy for my surgeryLove the blind pocketsCons – and the reason for return:Pattern matching! As you can see, there was no attention paid to this when they seamed the dress to create the flowy feel. What could have been very cute, looks very GRANNY on.

Versatile & Classy enough for lots of occasions
Like every other lady, I have a ton of black dresses from ultra luxury designer houses to simple boutique … and this dress is such a basic well made staple with generally good stitching that i’m on my 6th order in various colors. I’ve only had to return one for poor or uneven stitching. They have improved the stitching of the front darts and pockets which are my pet peeve in all these dresses, as well as the presentation of the dress. GOOD STITCHING IS EVERYTHING! I think they are finally figuring that out. This one is a pretty consistent brand right now. They could improve the color representation though. Orange is Rust – not orange. And the greens are a bit off.I appreciate and gravitate to good solid classic design and this fits the bill when you dont want fancy or luxury, but a simple classic understated look that can be dressed up or down. I have worn mine in Paris with pearls, hat, designer scarf and nice shoes; to church with veil and flats; and to a funeral w/a dress topper jacket. It’s versatile and the pockets are perfect for quickly tucking away your phone and lip balm as needed.I do wish they’d make this in white short sleeve as a basic all/purpose white is as useful as basic all purpose black.

Needed considerable amount of tailoring to fit
nice autumn dress. The dress comprised of 10 panels. If I had made dress myself I would have used 3 main pieces. I am 5’1”ordered a large as per the size chart and it reached mid calf. However, dress hung like a sack and was most unsightly. I had to take it in 51/2 inches to obtain shape at waistline. Thankfully I can tailor and it fits perfectly now.
