🌿🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Beautiful Starting Point for Your Herbal Healing Journey
Herbal Remedies for Beginners is exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Jane Kennedy has created such an approachable, clear, and empowering guide to natural healing. Whether you’re a total newbie (like me!) or just looking to reconnect with simple, plant-based wellness, this book makes the world of herbs feel less intimidating and way more inspiring. What I loved most is how easy it is to follow. Jane doesn’t overwhelm you with complicated terminology or long-winded explanations. Instead, she gives you the “why” behind each remedy, the practical “how-to,” and even tips for sourcing, preparing, and storing your own blends. It felt like sitting down with a wise friend who wants to see you well—mind, body, and spirit. The remedies are practical and cover everything from headaches and digestion to anxiety and better sleep. I’ve already tried the chamomile-infused oil and a digestive tea, and wow—simple, effective, and deeply soothing. If you’re even a little curious about holistic wellness or want to reduce your reliance on over-the-counter solutions, this is the perfect place to begin. It’s informative without being preachy, and rooted in the idea that healing can be gentle, natural, and accessible. This is a book I’ll be returning to again and again—and gifting to friends who want to reclaim their wellness one plant at a time 🌸

A True Herbal Education for Beginners – Love It!
This book feels like a gift from my great-grandmother, who always believed in the healing power of nature. Reading Herbal Remedies for Beginners brought back memories of her showing me how to make teas for colds and salves for cuts. The way the book explains each herb’s healing properties reminded me of her wisdom, only now it’s written down and easy to reference.I love how beginner-friendly it is—no overwhelming jargon, just clear, step-by-step guidance. The recipes are simple yet effective, and the holistic antibiotics section blew me away. It’s like having a toolkit for natural health at my fingertips!Another favorite part is the advice on growing and sourcing herbs. It’s inspiring me to create a small herb garden, just like my great-grandmother had. This book doesn’t just teach you about herbal medicine—it connects you to a way of life that feels grounding and empowering.Whether you’re a total newbie or someone reconnecting with old traditions, this is a treasure trove of knowledge that feels personal and timeless. I’ll be passing this down to my daughter someday, continuing the legacy of healing through nature. Highly recommend!

This book is an absolute gem for anyone interested in learning about herbal remedies! As someone who was completely new to this world, I found the step-by-step approach incredibly helpful. The first chapter’s historical overview of herbal medicine gave me a solid foundation, while the tips on integrating herbs into modern practices made everything feel accessible and practical.I especially loved the sections on creating your first herbal toolkit and the detailed guide to popular herbs like lavender, chamomile, and turmeric. The recipes and storage tips were clear and easy to follow, even for a beginner like me.What stood out the most is how the book emphasizes a personal connection to nature and holistic healing. This is an amazing resource for those interested in Herbalism and wanting to dip their toes into the topic or use it as the beginning stepping stones to your deep dive into herbalism. It flows effectively from the beginning to the end. You can feel the passion, emotion, and energy put into this and to growing the author’s own knowledge to get to this point. During the first 14 pages, I realized I was not only hooked but impressed. Not only does the author touch on the history of herbalism but also cites the sources throughout the book. Maybe I’m a nerd but I freaking love that. I love the fact that this book has re-sparked my thirst for knowledge and surprised me at the same time with what I already knew and made everything so easy to understand. The importance of knowing contraindications and working with your medical team or a holistic doctor/herbalist was beautifully made apparent. Herbalism is an amazing gift. All one has to do is realize the old ways and safety and chase that knowledge. it is a wonderful and important journey for one to have and I am beyond glad I have this guide to refer to anytime.
