Cute, But Feels More Like Plastic
I grabbed this mostly because it looked adorable and I’m always curious about new tools to help me feel a little more put-together without too much effort. It’s definitely got a fun shape and feels light in the hand, which makes it easy to toss in a bag or leave by the sink. I’ve used it to smooth out my ends or tidy my hairline when things get frizzy and it does that part just fine. But I don’t know that it’s real horn the way it’s described. It feels really glossy and plastic-y, more like a novelty comb than a traditional horn tool.I was kind of hoping it could double as a little gua sha, but the shape and texture don’t really feel great for that. It doesn’t have the comforting weight or soft edges that I’d expect from something meant for skin massage. Still, it’s cute to look at and fine for basic combing when I want something that doesn’t snag or pull. I just wouldn’t count on it being anything super fancy material-wise.
