Better price and just as good as a Pixel or Apple watch with superior battery life.
I bought this as a gift for my daughter. It is compatible with her Pixel phone. Battery life is fantastic and is one of the main reasons I went for this model. She loves the look of the subtle green color. She says the quality of the apps on it are great and easy to use. I’ve had good luck with Garmin equipment in the past so duarability should be very good. I’m very happy with this purchase. It should last a long time.

great battery, fitness tracking, and everyday use
My Apple Watch of 7 1/2 years was on its last leg. I wanted a new smartwatch that wasn’t Apple, as I was more interested in a better fitness tracker. Another gym member suggested Garmin. Took their quiz on their website about which fit my interests and went with Vivoactive5 (plus it’s purple, I couldn’t pass that up).Pros:- SO MANY different statistics you can track versus Apple. I can’t explain all of them, but some I like are what muscles I used during workouts, recovery time, showing different levels of heart rate for fitness time, body battery, and sleep detector.- Very customizable. Able to switch out widgets and colors for the front screen.- More workout typesCons:- Doesn’t connect well with other Apple Watch users (understandably). You’re not able to see what others rings, workouts, etc are. It does export some data to Apple Health though- Can’t call or text (not as big of a deal for me)- Can’t get watch alerts when using GPS maps like Google or Apple Maps- The front screen of your iPhone will turn on every alert versus the watch buzz onlyI’m sure I’m forgetting something, but I love it and recommend.

Heart Issues and ME/CFS
This watch has really been helping me to track my oxygen which lead to finding a heart issue that I will be getting surgery for next month to patch a hole. I’ve had ME/CFS for many years and I’ve found that the body battery is a good tool to guide me to make changes in my life to lessen my stress and increase my energy. Great watch!

I absolutely love my Garmin watch!!! I’m an amputee and it’s has a wheelchair mode which is so awesome. Battery holds a charge for days. I really didn’t want to spend that much but it is well worth it. So many different features. Very accurate.

Definitely more than what I was expecting I thought I was just buying the watch but it came with all of these charging adapters. The watch is beautiful it’s exactly what I need and more I spent at least 3 months trying to figure out which was the best watch to get and I’m glad that I went with this one and that I bought it through this company because it came at its original box it wasn’t refurbished it was brand new the instructions were there and I really appreciated the transparency and the extra bit of love in the packaging
