e.l.f. SKIN The Hottest Drops Duo hits the mark
I purchased this e.l.f. SKIN The Hottest Drops Duo, Holy Hydration! Thirst Burst & Bronzing Skincare Set to give it a trial run as my Summertime daily go-to for my face. Like many other reviewers, I was surprised by how small the travel sizes were, so take note that they are “travel-sized” and therefore fairly small. They do, however, fit perfectly in my small, daily-use makeup bag. When I first mixed the Thirst Burst Drops with the Bronzing drops I thought for sure I was going to come out looking like a pumpkin as it looked far too dark for my light complexion. However, I applied this with my makeup sponge and was very pleased with how well it blended in, smoothed out the appearance of my skin, and just gave me a nice, healthy-looking glow without looking too made up. I’m a minimalist when it comes to daily makeup and this duo hit the mark, even on my mature skin. It provided adequate hydration but I still like to use my regular daily moisturizer before applying this for an even better result.

This is a terrific product! I would highly recommend this! Makes your face look radiant! You must experiment a bit to get a good match with your complexion. The directions suggest you use 3 drops of each product and blend in the palm of your hand. I initially started with 3 of the Thurst Burst Drops with 2 drops of the bronzing drops and it was a too dark for my skin. The next time I used only 1 drop of the bronzer drops. It was barely a full drop, but it was perfect! Just gave my skin a “ healthy” look. A subtle glow, nothing shiny. Really like this product and I am over 70 years old! I always have found even the lightest foundation looks too flat on my face. This product doesn’t do that! Very reasonable priced.

Must have for your makeup bag
Absolutely love this product! Not overly greasy, feels light and refreshing. When I first put the drops on my hand it appeared really dark but when I mixed it and applied it it blended well and matched my uneven skin tone. My boyfriend even commented that I looked nice and we all know men aren’t overly observant with these things! Highly recommend. Product itself is a little small but should last a while.

Can’t figure out how the teensiest drops of this gave me a sheer luminous glow but they do! Yes, the tubes are teeny. But you don’t use much each time. Like, literally, less than half the size of an uncooked lentil. Squeeze out the tiniest amount you can of each (you mix 50/50 or whatever ratio you want) into your palm, mix and spread all over your face. Instant glow! It’s sheer and quite pretty. I also used a bit of the bronzer on my eyelids and the pink under my brows as a highlighter. Very subtle but nice, especially on my older skin. Unlike base which accents my wrinkles and looks like a mask on me, this just accents my skin.

I have combo/oily skin and it feels so good on the skin! It doesn’t feel filmy after applying and it doesn’t just dry. It’s sits well on the skin and locks my makeup in place well.

Love this lil set. Skin feels smooth and soft after use and added bonus of a sun-kissed look with the drops.I don’t wear makeup often as I don’t like the feeling on hot days, when it feels like its slipping. But I can wear this and not worry and not feel like I need foundation.

I was super pale after a long winter and wanted to give my face a bit of colour now that spring is here. So far I love it. It really does give me a healthy glow, and it looks realistic. I use one drop of the bronzer to three drops of the clear one. Yeah the tubes are small but for the tiny amount needed every time, these will last a while. It helps to read how many ml each bottle is before ordering, so many other reviewers are disappointed because of the size.
