The 2024 Curl Defining Brush has been a helpful addition to my curly hair routine, delivering noticeable improvements in curl definition and styling ease. For someone with 3A curls who has struggled to find the right tools, this brush offers solid performance with a few minor limitations.The vented design works well for reducing drying time and preventing heat damage. Air flows through nicely when I’m diffusing, and the spacing helps separate curls naturally without creating frizz. The brush does an excellent job of detangling wet hair without pulling or breaking strands, which has been a game-changer for my fragile curls.Curl definition is where this brush really shines. It helps create more uniform, well-formed spirals and reduces the uneven curl pattern I used to get. My curls look more polished and defined after using this brush with my styling products. The shape and size work well for sectioning hair and creating consistent curl patterns.The handle is comfortable and lightweight, making it easy to maneuver through thick, curly hair. The bristles are gentle enough for wet hair but firm enough to provide good tension for shaping. I appreciate that it doesn’t snag or catch on knots like some other brushes I’ve tried.However, I’ve noticed the bristles starting to show some wear after about four months of regular use. Very nice for defining my curls! Wide bristles allow for larger curl clumps, and I find that the material/looser bristles allow for easy cleaning to prevent product build up. Wonderful starter brush for anyone just learning to style curly/permed/wavy hair! <3

Quality of the brush is amazing! It’s super gentle and effective! I have really curly hair that loves to tangle and this brush goes straight through! I have long hair down to my butt! It’s great for styling and defining curls as well! It can be used in addition to a blow dryer to help style and make for a quick drying process.

Perfect for curls
Really great brush!!! With my curls I only brush my hair when it’s wet because it turns extremely puffy when brushed dry. When I brush when wet and then it dries my curls turn out really great and pretty! I had a different brush for curly hair that was meant for detangling but it left my hair frizzy after. My curls with this brush stay perfectly together and it looks great!

Side gaps too small for people with thick hair.
Very cute color, and a solid brush. Brushes hair fine. The gaps on the edges do not create very good “curl families” though. I have thick hair and have better luck with brushes that have bigger gaps.
