Enjoying the brush
I haven’t tried the “other “ brand just because of cost. I got this at a great price and not disappointed. I like the feel of this brush and the back has the curling ability as well as the sides. Detangling is good if you work in small sections. Works well would recommend!

Love this for the curls, it def defines them, the brush is okay just makes my hair friz when dry. Make sure you use while wet! Plastic is dense and will hold up for a while.

It’s a Good Brush
Highly suggest this brush if you’re looking for a brush that is gentle with easily-tangled hair. It is very soft yet sturdy, and it works great with wet hair. However, it didn’t do an above average job at defining my curls. Yes, it did help separate the strands into thicker stands verses a typical brush; but that’s about where the “defining” stopped. To be fair, I have very thin (yet coarse) 3A curls that have a mind of their own that any 2C/3A person can tell you. It wasn’t the magically “curl” brush i was hoping to get.

Perfect curls
Over the past year my hair has turned curly (thanks to Menopause ) I have heard a lot about this kind of brush to define your curls. I did not want to spend a lot of money on some of the other brushes like this. This one works very well and the price is great ! It’s easy to hold and the curls come out really defined !

Awesome
Love this brush! I have natural curly hair that I avoided brushing until I came across some videos on line showing these brushes made for curly hair. I would not use it on dry hair but it is awesome for detangling and separating your curls when wet. The brush is of very good quality.

AMAZING brush that quickly fell apart
No contest, in every way this brush is better than the name-brand. This brush detangles better than any brush I’ve ever owned before & includes the part comb handle. Name-brand cannot detangle; instructions say to make sure hair is detangled b4 use. This brush is considerably lighter weight making handling so much easier & the occasional drops less painful. BUT bought it 03/25 and now reviewing & replacing 07/25. But notice I am buying it again $$ because it was that great and that affordable compared to the name-brand. Bristles work amazingly but construction quality is poor. Bristles quickly began to smash in or fall out in patches, leaving chunks of glue behind that had to be picked out. But you best believe I cleaned that sumbich and kept using it. Currently watching doll making videos to figure out how to take this thing apart, hot glue the bristles better, and put it back together.
