Quality product with comfort
Lovely quality and great value for money. However it was too large and I had to return.

Perfect support after mastectomy with reconstruction
I purchased this bra as a replacement for the surgical bra that was put on me during surgery. In fact, I even had to purchase this more than once. It was helpful to me as I recuperate from my bilateral mastectomy surgery with reconstruction. With its support, the post-mastectomy pain is alleviated as I can snuggly fit it in different ways to adjust its size or hold on my breasts and to position the tubes comfortably from my drain holes. I also specifically liked the velcro as it does not make it tedious to be worn as my arms are still recovering from removing my sentinel lymph nodes. The only thing that I could advise women undergoing reconstruction is to get the size of their actual breasts after surgery before settling with the size. Because they could have changed. For my case, I was lucky to have had the right size after my first purchase.

Rubs horribly under the arm and caused a rash
I already wrote a review on this item. It doesn’t fit well and rubs under the left arm pit.

Soft fabric and snug compression bras
A flat compression bras provides a snug, secure fit for the body after surgery. It doesn’t have built bra cups to it. That is plus. Very soft fabric, but I don’t like the velcro. I

great fit and post surgery support but very poorly made
This is my favorite fitting post surgery bra, but it is very poorly made and this makes the bra one that I cannot recommend. The velcro areas on the bra are uncomfortable because the “male” portion of the velcro is made of hard plastic that can and does poke your tender post-surgery skin with the hard and pointed corners of the plastic. Plus, the hard plastic velcro pieces do not hold the stitches that are used to sew the plastic on to the bra and so the stitches quickly start to tear through the plastic, leading to the velcro pieces eventually coming off, making the bra unusable. With this bra being one of the most expensive of the post-surgery bras offered on Amazon, it should be made with superior materials, but it is not and this is the downfall of this bra because the design is otherwise much better than others. I have found that most post-surgery bras are not made to last as long as regular bras. This is probably okay for many women that do not need them for long. I am having to go through multiple surgeries over the span of a year such that I need this bra to last longer. Because I need a good fitting bra for a long while and because the design of this bra is so much better than others I’ve tried, I’m going to look for velcro that I can use to replace the horrible hard plastic that was used in this bra. It just doesn’t seem right to have to pay so much for this bra and than have to spend time and money modifying it so that it works as it should to begin with. Last note I’ll offer is that I initially ordered a much bigger size based on some of the reviews and I had to return it and exchange it for a size that matched with the vendor’s size guide and that is what worked for me.

It is adjustable
Nice that it is adjustable. Straps, band and front Velcro closure

Not great for larger breasts
Bought this in multiple sizes for my lumpectomy and it’s just not a very good post surgery support bra if you have larger breasts. It is not going to give you the support you need for optimal incision healing. The quality was also much lower than I expected for the price point. After two washes it was already pilling. I would send it back if I could. The only positive I can give it is that the material and seams are soft and don’t catch on my incisions.
