Has helped so much with pain caused by old couch cushions. Better than others I tried.
We eat dinners in the family room while watching a movie and sit on an old couch with a coffee table that raises to table height. I am 77 years old and sitting on the worn and flattened cushions of the couch was causing pain in my hips so that it was difficult to walk for a bit when I got up from the couch. By the end of a 2-hour movie, my legs were uncomfortable, beginning to ache, and felt like the blood supply was cut off from them because the couch cushion flattened so that the frame of the couch was hitting the back of my thigh.Since we haven’t found time to get out to find a replacement couch, I turned to Amazon to find a temporary solution. I ordered this “butt cushion” in addition to 4 others in hopes that one of them would relieve the discomfort of sitting on our couch. I wanted something firm enough to overcome the flattening of the old couch cushions, but, it trying the different cushions, I found that shape and size is also important. Since I weigh 112 lbs., most of the cushions I ordered were firm enough, but the support offered by each was different. Some flattened after a short time, and some just weren’t very comfortable because of the shape.This cushion is more expensive than the others I tried, but saving money at the expense of less comfort wasn’t an option. I have been using this cushion every night for over a week, and no longer have the hip pain when I get up from the couch. The leg discomfort is also gone. The 4 other cushions have been returned. Since I weigh 112 lbs., I can’t vouch for how this cushion would hold up to more weight, but it works for me and I am happy with it.UPDATE 07/30/24:I have been using this “butt cushion” every evening for at least 3 hours for the last 2 months, and I wouldn’t want to do without it. In this time, it has not flattened at all, is very supportive, and perfectly fits the contour of my butt and thighs so I no longer get pains in my hips and legs from sitting on our old couch. You would think that finding a suitable cushion to sit on would be an easy task. In my experience of trying different cushions, I found that the perfect cushion is a very personal thing. Not only does it have to supply a comfortable firmness for support, but it must conform to your individual “butt contour”. It is often necessary to try more than one to find the one that is perfect for you. This cushion is all that for me.UPDATE 12/16/24:I have now been using this cushion on my couch to sit on for over 6 months. It is still as supportive as it was when new, and has not flattened at all. Since using it, I have not had pains in my hips or legs after sitting on the couch. The cushion is so comfortable, we have put off getting a new couch. Instant tailbone relief on a sagging couch
For a few months now my leather couch has been sagging, and when I sit on it for extended periods of time my posture would get terrible, leading to tailbone soreness. After placing this on my couch I had instant relief. The rubberized grip on the bottom helps it to stay in place, and the level of comfort this adds to my daily couch use is second to none.While this product is expensive, I’ve tried a few other pillows like this that just don’t have the same support or comfort. It naturally improves posture and the pillow cover texture is really nice. Also the large size is great as it helps to cup your posterior and keep you in place.

The best ergonomic office chair seat cushion?
This is the best ergonomic seat cushion I’ve tried of the several that I’ve owned in the past. Very breathable and comfortable with plenty of dense padding especially good when used on a very hard office or dining room chair. This is not “gel” or typical “memory foam” and that’s a good thing. Will help relieve hip and lower back pain when having to sit for extended periods. Great for the home office or a gaming chair. However, if used everyday you will loose the cushion effect after 14-16 months and will probably need to buy a new one. If your worried about stains buy the heather gray one (the black one def highlights stains) and just unzip the outer cover and wash it.

Stops pain from sitting. Well made and comfortable.
This is the second one of these cushions I have bought for myself and my husband to use in the car. It keeps the coccyx bone from being painful from sitting too long and also it has stopped the sciatic nerve pain I used to suffer from. I am able to travel more without the pain I used to have.It is a very well made cushion and after a few years it has not gone flat.I recently bought the two new ones because the cushions covers were wearing and I cant find replacements.We dont travel anywhere without these cushions.I highly recommend if you want less pain from sitting.

Pregnancy Tailbone Pain
I am pregnant with my second child and have extreme tailbone/coccyx pain after sitting for long periods of time. I had the same pain in my first pregnancy and never was able to resolve it. I used a mediocre cushion that didn’t help at all. I was hesitant to spend the money and honestly didn’t think anything would help, but I bought this anyways to give it a shot. It has definitely improved my pain. It’s not 100% better (don’t think that’s possible due to pregnancy), but I was at a point where sitting at my desk was intolerable. I have been able to eliminate that issue. Spend the money and get this cushion. It gives you the support you need and cups your bottom and leaves a gap so your coccyx doesn’t have direct pressure from your chair. The cover on the cushion is also soft, so it doesn’t rub or bother my legs if I’m in a dress or shorts.

It helped me big time. I have gone through two lower back surgeries and I wanted something to try. Ergonomic chair did not help me then I decided to buy it and since then my pain is more than 75% gone. I would recommend it to all who are suffering from low back pain.

I finally found a cushion that is supportive. Most cushions that I bought did not really provide much lower back lumbar support. This cushion supports the butt in that the two ends curl slightly upwards. This design is ingenious as it mimics the shape of our behinds. The Cushion does not sink all the way to the bottom. It is relatively dense to support my weight. It is not cheap but it provides relief and that is worth its price. It also relieves tailbone fatigue.

I have a Cushion Lab cushion that I have been using for 4 months here in the US. It is awesome and worth every penny. It is so good, I wanted to order one for my mum for her birthday. She is in the UK and there was only one option on Amazon UK (in the US there is a variety of colors and 2 sizes) and just going on the picture, it looks a little thinner than the one I have…but I cannot confirm this. I also work in International retail and I get it – we cannot offer the variety that we can in the US – so that didn’t bother me too much – but holy hotcakes – DOUBLE the price??? Yes, 2 times what I paid. For that reason alone, I have dropped my star rating. My cushion lab cushion here in the US is completely awesome. My mum, who is 94, seems to like it – and I hope it is twice as good as mine 🙂
