These are surprisingly high quality books for the price! Thecpapercisnt super thick, but it’s high quality! I use alcohol markers so of course they bleed through, but they don’t bleed outside the lines in the pictures …you don’t need to be overly cautious. I have more than 50 color books, and I would say this about maybe 5 of them so these were a nice surprise. The designs are neither overly simple nor overly detailed. I’m working on shading and other design techniques and am loving the lettering variety as well. Truly having fun with these books and have 2 other sets in my cart. The spiral bindings have become a ‘must have” for me recently, so of course that’s a plus as well.
