So soft, comfy, and versatile
I love this dress! It can be dressed up or down; it’s soft; it’s stretchy; it’s a classic print (b&w stripe). I am 5’5″ and ordered a size Small with the intention of wearing it postpartum but it fit great at 35 weeks pregnant and 150lb of pregnancy weight (I’m listing my pre-pregnancy weight for the review. It fits well, not super form fitting and I’m back down to my normal weight.) Even with the belly, I didn’t find it sheer at all, but I still wore nude colored undergarments just in case.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!
Fit, fabric, style…I’m impressed. I scoured reviews looking for the perfect maxi for casual dressing around town…this is it. Fabric drapes nicely, feels soft, very flattering! I especially like the seams around neckline and arms, (I know that seems like an odd thing) they are a bit wider than what you would expect for a $30 maxi dress. Buy this one! 5’5″ 160lb bought a large. Hem hits a couple inches above my ankle.

So soft and comfy
I normally wear a L but bought an XL for a little more room. The XL was way too big. I could have bought a M. When I went to exchange for a M, the XL was the only size available. This dress is so comfy and with a knot tied at the bottom, it’s really cute. I ended up keeping the dress and am going to have it altered. If they get more sizes, I say buy it! It’s worth it!

Flattering material.
The material used for this dress is thick and the cut is very flattering. Doesn’t cling to pudge and gives a smoother, more polished look than most other jersey-type dresses! The sizing is also on the generous side. I am between sizes, ordered the smaller size, and happy I did. This is such a great wardrobe staple for spring and summer that I ended up ordering a second color.

Wonky sewing
First, the description should read: “FRENCH TERRY” Racerback Maxi Dress. The inside is looped and brushed typical of French terry (like a lightweight sweatshirt; google it and compare my photo). I was expecting something heavier than a t-shirt since it’s not jersey but wasn’t sure what interpretation of “terry” meant here; so many people say terry when they mean fleece or terry cloth. Anyway, I do like the fabric; not see through, a good weight and extremely soft! I would get a lot of use out of this in our cold San Francisco summers but if you are somewhere with hot and humid summers – NO, just no! This will easily take you from spring into fall otherwise, even winter if you run hot. Or lounging around the house – it’s very comfortable. The fit is good; I wear a 42DD bra and XXL fits great up top not tight but not loose, larger armholes than expected but I’ll wear a black bra and you won’t notice as much. I’m 5″4 and the length is great, came to my ankles so no need to hem. Unfortunately, I had to return because the neckline was sewn incorrectly; the left side is round, and that strap is thinner. Where it connects to the back piece it’s offset so a little piece of fabric sticks out on my shoulder. I’m returning this one and already ordered a new one – hopefully that one is sewn better as it is a great maxi dress.

Wearable fabric. Did not feel like it was a nightgown.Cannot tell the quality of fabric till item arrives. Some/a lot of the fabrics are very thin, no weight. , not dressability.

Big and long
Wow this was very disappointing. The dress was so long it was dragging on the floor, like, a lot. I know they probably have tall models in the pictures but there is no way it’s the same. The arm holes were so weirdly wide the sides of the dress were sticking out at the armpits, so not flattering. I don’t understand how these things get made like this. Had to return.

really soft inside fabric but size down because it expands thru the day
I have bought this dress many times, mostly in the black and navy. I love the fabric against my skin. Feels like the softness of a hoodie. At 200lbs I bought the Large and it does fit and is comfortable but it does also show my belly and is form fitting in all the places I wish I didn’t have going on. I suppose I should get the XL and have it a little looser! I do think the dress runs a little on the big side since I normally can not fit in a large in anything! Cute dress, simple, but nice for wearing with jean jacket, sneaks, casual. Price varies from day to day! I do recommend this especially because of the fabric. I am not a side slit person so wish there wasnt any (on just one side) but oh well….

This is such a comfortable soft touch dress. I’m a size 12 and a small fits perfectly. I’m 5”7 and the length sits just above my ankle. I got a black dress and it’s not see through at all like other brands can be. The material is quite thick and will be a very versatile dress.
