Amazing Amazfit Hyrox/HIIT Training Watch
Hyrox training/competition ready! 19 day battery life at 10% possibly longer (I have to charge my iPhone 7 just about every day to every other day by comparison) Large, bright display. 29 Gb of storage (300-700 hours of music if you were inclined). Fast, precise GPS. Dozens of useful apps. Hundreds of watch faces free or paid. Loud speakers for alarm, Bluetooth calls, notifications. Apple/Android compatible phone app. Too much to mention. Only two minor downsides the wristbands that come with it are cheap plastic feeling (I swapped out after a few days for silicone) and currently watch does not work with my health insurance benefits for monitoring my workouts and sleep to get a discount.

Outstanding quality, worth the money
What can I say except that I love this watch. I had my eye on the Falcon, which is more rugged for sure, but I’m glad I decided on the Balance 2.1. The sensors are next level. O2, heart rate, compass, I tested most of them against quality stand-alone devices and this watch held it’s own. It’s extremely accurate, simple to use, and doesn’t drain a ton of power.2. The saphire crystal is outstanding, and coupled with the steel chassis styling and finish, the watch just looks and feels like quality and class. Yes, sapphire is a bit more smudgy with the fingerprints, but a trade-off I can live with for sapphire.3. The Zepp OS is simple yet rock solid. True, the app universe isn’t as vast as Android Wear OS or Apple watchOS, but to me that’s a good thing. It keeps the watch a watch, not a phone on your wrist. I appreciate the distinction.4. Comfort is good, but to be perfect requires a better band. That said, the band it comes with is good quality and comfortable for 24/7 wear. I wear it at night for sleep tracking and a morning wake-up alarm. As an alarm, the vibration is enough to wake me up, and I’m hard of hearing and a heavy sleeper.5. Battery life is remarkable for a smart watch, averaging just over 2 weeks on a full charge, and taking about an hour to fully recharge. That’s with regular daily use of GPS, Bluetooth, fitness, notifications, alarms, and other typical use of the watch. My Wear OS watch got about a day and a half, and my watchOS watch got about a day. The magnetic charging base is a plus as well, but I’d love to see this evolve to use Qi charging instead of magnetic contacts, but that’s not a deal breaker. True, the trade-offs and battery savings come from the lack of poorly optimized energy-hungry apps and data-gathering sensors, but like I said earlier, this is a blessing, not a curse, and the long battery life was primary selling point for me.Overall, this is a fantastic watch, one I would easily buy again. The quality of the frame, the sapphire crystal, the elegant styling, all qualities I’d expect to find in a $300 watch. So if you’re wondering if this watch is worth the money I’d say yes, to me it is. Buy one and judge for yourself.

This thing is seriously impressive. Super comfortable to wear, and packed with features you’d normally only see on watches twice the price. It tracks sleep, workouts, stress, heart rate, blood oxygen — even body composition — and the info actually feels useful.GPS is fast and accurate, the display looks great, and the battery just keeps going. I’ve gone a full week without needing a charge. You get music controls, Alexa, notifications, and even tap-to-pay.Honestly, Amazfit nailed it with this one. It’s smooth, smart, and does just about everything the big names do for a fraction of the cost.

Rugged, I do recommend getting a snap-on cover for it though, if you’re as tough on stuff as I am.
This would get a five-star rating. There are plenty of things to love about this fitness band, like it measures your BMI and muscle mass, and also has 45,000 golf courses that you can download. It does everything I need it to do, plus many other things that I will not mention here. Now for the bad: I do not like that I cannot adjust my stride length. I’m ex-military, and I take longer strides than most people my height. Supposedly, you can set the stride length by running for 10 minutes outside, but my knees do not allow for that anymore. The Fitbit allows you to change your stride length without having to do that. I have to take at least 20 more minutes than I had to with my Fitbit Charge 6. The one thing to note about having a cover plate is the fact that you need to take it off before you start sweating everywhere because you cannot turn off whatever exercise you have selected if you sweat a lot during your workout. I always have to play games to pry mine off if I forget. If they allow for a stride length adjustment, I will adjust my rating to a 5-star rating.

Amazfit is amazing! They seem to make every effort to offer there customers the maximum engineering, quality and value for the dollar and this Balance 2 smartwatch edition is certainly no exception! I had already purchased their T-Rex 3 watch and it’s been nothing short of spectacular. The only thing I longed for was just a touch more elegance, but then in all fairness elegance is not what they were shooting for in the T-Rex. This Balance 2 watch has it all! Not only will it handle just about everything that the T-Rex does but it does it with a style and class and elegance that few smart watches possess regardless of their price. There is a fit and finish and simplicity in this watch that just screams quality. We are talking about a watch here that sports a sapphire crystal, AMOLED 480×480 screen with a max brightness of 2000 nits, 2 Gigs of ram, 32 Gigs of storage, dual band GPS and all the latest health monitoring apps for 300 bucks all encased in a watch body that says I am simple but elegant!!! This in my opinion is the best mid to high end smartwatch on the market right now. If you’re looking for a watch that does it all and does it in style and made by a company that settles for nothing less than quality and functionality at a reasonable price then look no further because this one will definitely not disappoint.
