The best compression wrap for wounds
This was for my lower leg. The last time I had damage I didn’t know about this wrap. I was in wound treatment for six weeks (and the treatment nurse introduced me to Coban 2 layer). This time I used the Coban on the second day (when it arrived), and as a result I was fully healed in less than three weeks.It’s relatively easy to put on, even putting it on yourself (and I am not the most coordinated person around). I cleaned the area using gauze and some sterile saline solution I already had, then wrapped (counter-clockwise) with the mesh padding. Then I wrapped over this (clockwise) with the compression bands, covering more than the area already covered by the pad. It all held together, it didn’t fall off or loosen (I replaced it every 2-3 days), and it didn’t stick to my wound. This is so much better than a large band-aid!
