Listen, I was influenced by an ad on Pinterest because I was intrigued. I have very curly hair that I air dry and it tends to dry very flat at my roots. This little thing works great! It solves my issue by adding ample volume! The only thing is, I wish that there were an option for two of the smaller combs because they are honestly the perfect size for what my needs, the large one is just a bit too bulky, but I use it nonetheless. They are very easy to use and I just remove when my roots are about 80% dry and floof them up and viola! Perfect voluminous roots!

They do give a little lift to the roots, but not as much volume as I expected. They’re lightweight and easy to use, but they don’t stay in place very well if you move around too much. An okay product—works for a quick boost, but not a game changer.

The clips add volume but the jagged edges get stuck in my curls as I’m removing them. As a result, the curls get straightened a bit. That’s alright if that’s what you’re going for…I’m not.
