African American Hair
My texture hair is not course but I do have tight coiling hair and is prone to dryness. I went a couple of months without detangling or deep conditions. My hair started to become so dehydrated and meshed it looked like parts of my hair was forming into locks. First off I cut the dead hair out, no product works without removing the toxicity first. I clipped those ends that I knew for sure would give me a problem getting a brush or comb through regardless. Once satisfied with that, I washed properly and deep conditioned for about 30 mins with the bonnet as a natural heat amplifier (using coconut oil with the conditoner). Once I did as much preparation, I broke out every piece of this set. I used EVERY piece in this set. I was able to part without strain with the wide tooth comb, I was able to keep my hair separated with the clips, I was able to detangle with the miracle “stretch brush”( starting from the ends and working the entire strands) and then do a deeper detangle with the tighter stiffer brush. Lastly I used what it advertised as a shampoo massager as a “re-coil”. I used to have the sponge to curl my coils but it also pulls you hair, this does not. The comb and brush is definitely for styling your edges but I don’t do so, so its the only product I did not use. I used the spray bottle to dampen my hair once more before applying my protective product. I am very thankful for this kit set. I made a place immediately for every piece in this kit set in my bathroom ASAP! Buy it. I love it

Products are of good quality.
The products are good and came as described. The clear plastic bag casing it came in damaged easily during opening for the first time. Products itself are sturdy and worth the money. The spray can gave problems to work the first few tries but it works good now.I bought this for my toddler’s natural hair, the clips are great and doesn’t tangle in her hair.

Let me tell you this… there was no way I was not going to leave a review! I love every item in this package. The comb is sturdy and not flimsy…favorite comb now. The brushes are sturdy and manage the hair well. We are dealing with 4c super kinky and when I tell you the brush glided through the hair. I am very very very happy with this purchase and will be gifting each of my other mama bears a set of their own as this is the one thing I should have owned years ago. The brushes are amazing and work well. They really work well in the hair whether wet or dry. This was a really good deal and the value for money is indeed incredibly budget friendly. They are easy to clean and they are easy to store as they come in a package. Definitely recommend.

Wide selection of hair items
I recently learned how to properly care for my curly hair, so I was excited to find this kit that has such a wide assortment of tools.I will start with the items I found work wonderfully for me. The two clips are great. I use one to hold my hair on too of my head while I work with lower layers. I have thick hair, and one clip is able to hold it in place well. I also find the reversible satin bonnet easy to use. It has an easy to adjust elastic band so that you can tighten it around your head. The only, minor, issue I have found is that the double layer of fabric keeps my head very warm (I tend to run warm).The items I have not found easy to use are the adjustable brush (the cross support pops off every time I try to use it on my wet hair, and it does not work well on my hair without the cross support bar) and the misting bottle. The misting bottle worked great at first. Just over a month of use and the circle where the mist comes out cracked and started creating a squirt of water off to the side. I still kept using it and just tried to make sure the spray went in a direction that didn’t get me too wet. It didn’t take long for it break more, so now it drips water as you try to spray…really not useful anymore.The other items in the kit I have not found useful for my personal needs.
